All persons attending the venue today carried face-masks, observed social distance requirements and maintained room density quotients for the race meeting.

The closing time of kennelling was altered in accordance with GAR 31, due to the late arrival of several trainers who experienced significant traffic delays en–route to the track. The kennels closed at 6.53pm. 

In accordance with LR 22, Mr C. Grenfell was issued with a warning regarding the non-compliance with the GRV Dress Code.

Aston Alpha and Nikoli Bale collided soon after the start checking Nikoli Bale, Wild Aces Agogo, Steamer Redeemer and Usman Bale.  Maelynn Bale and Savrance Bale collided on the first turn.  Usman Bale checked off Aston Alpha on the first turn.  Wild Aces Agogo checked off Usman Bale approaching the second turn.  Tynslee Bale and Nikoli Bale collided on the second turn checking Tynslee Bale.  Steamer Redeemer checked off Tynslee Bale on the second turn.  Aston Alpha checked off Tynslee Bale entering the back straight checking Steamer Redeemer.  Tynslee Bale and Savrance Bale collided on the third turn.  Steamer Redeemer checked off Maelynn Bale approaching the home turn.  Tynslee Bale and Wild Aces Agogo collided in the home straight.  Savrance Bale visibly eased approaching the winning post and collided with Nikoli Bale. 

Savrance Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right shoulder, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Representative, Mr T. Dailly, regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 68B (1), Savrance Bale was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Dailly pleaded guilty to the charge, Savrance Bale was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Shima Bolt was slow to begin.  Roxy Vodka and Ozark Bale collided soon after the start.  Jazz Opera and Roxy Tequila collided approaching the first turn checking Roxy Vodka.  Jazz Opera, Roxy Tequila, Roxy Vodka and Ozark Bale collided on the first turn.  Tybalt Bale, South Song and Shima Bolt collided on the first turn and again on the second turn checking South Song and Shima Bolt.  Jazz Opera checked off Roxy Tequila on the third turn.

Merlot and Aston Shine were slow to begin.  Keiki and Lots Of Chatter collided soon after the start.  Hatters Lane and Merlot collided on the first turn causing Hatters Lane to race wide.  Lots Of Chatter, Konta and Aston Shine collided on the first turn.  Lots Of Chatter contacted the running rail on the second turn.  Keiki and Lots Of Chatter collided on the home turn.

A sample was taken from Invictus Waive at the Trainer's kennel earlier today.

Fergusta Bale, Chart Topper and Byron Bale were slow to begin.  Fergusta Bale and Chart Topper collided soon after the start.  Fergusta Bale, Chart Topper and Byron Bale collided in the front straight checking Chart Topper. Chart Topper contacted the rail and lost ground approaching the first turn. Javi checked off Chun Li on the first turn.  Invictus Waive raced wide on the first turn checking Invictus Waive and Fergusta Bale.  Carry On Angel and Byron Bale collided entering the home straight.

Chart Topper was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left hind foot, no stand down period was imposed.

Lala Kiwi was quick to begin.  Gypsy Zelda, Orwell Bale and Get Real collided soon after the start.  Sonny Daze, Go Quantum and Gypsy Zelda collided approaching the first turn.  Get Real checked off Orwell Bale approaching the first turn.  Sonny Daze and Go Quantum collided on the first turn.  Junk Food Junkie checked off Lala Kiwi entering the back straight.

Cha Cha Charlie - Acting on a confirmed telephone call with Trainer Mr S. White Stewards withdrew Cha Cha Charlie at 6.43pm. Mr White stated that he would not be on track by the extended closing time due to significant delays encountered with traffic enroute. 

Arizona Eyes was slow to begin.  Zipping Hamish, Coconut Miss, Party Lights and Mepunga Maggie collided on the first turn checking Coconut Miss.  Aston Ulysses and Zipping Hamish collided on the second turn.  Aston Ulysses and King Of Calypso collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Zipping Rambo, Nevilla Bale, Winlock Thor and Zipping Caviar collided soon after the start.  Winlock Thor and Zipping Caviar collided on the first turn.  Winlock Thor and Madam Rosmerta collided entering the back straight.  Cool Bourbski and Winlock Thor collided on the home turn.  Zipping Walter and Winlock Thor collided approaching the winning post.

Aston Sonic was slow to begin.  Javier Bale, Charlie Bale and Artic Assassin collided soon after the start.  Bahati Bale, Charlie Bale and Artic Assassin collided approaching the first turn, severely checking Artic Assassin.  Aston Sonic and Summer Lights collided on the first turn checking Aston Sonic.  Charlie Bale brushed the running rail on the first turn.
