Steward's Report
Fawn Missile and Rag Time Griff were slow to begin.
Howdy Slim checked off Shanlyn Ally approaching the first turn. Shanlyn Ally checked off Miss Somerton on the first turn. Aston Syrah and Aston Rebel collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Fawn Missile, Aston Rebel and Shanlyn Ally collided on the first turn checking Fawn Missile, Aston Rebel and severely checking Shanlyn Ally which subsequently pulled up.
Shanlyn Ally underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have fractured the left tibia and fibula. Shanlyn Ally was humanely euthanised.
Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track from the first turn to the home straight and were satisfied it was satisfactory for racing.
