Steward's Report
All Staff & Participants attending the race-meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the Kennel Block and Associated Buildings and when engaged in the exclusive race-day functions of handling, boxing, starting & catching greyhounds.
All Ford was quick to begin. Dr. Grady was slow to begin. Meg Rose checked off Dr. Francisco approaching the first turn. Meg Rose checked off Connor Man approaching the first turn. Blackjack Ruslie checked off Connor Man on the first turn causing Blackjack Ruslie to contact the running rail and fell as a result. Connor Man and Dr. Francisco collided on the home turn. All Ford checked off Dr. Francisco entering the home straight.
Blackjack Ruslie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left elbow fracture and a laceration to the right wrist. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
