All staff and participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the Kennel Block and Associated Buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of handling, boxing, starting and catching greyhounds.

Cloud Raiser was quick to begin.  Big City Nights was slow to begin.  Cloud Raiser and Left On Read collided soon after the start checking Left On Read.  Shen Bree Girl and Cloud Raiser collided approaching the first turn checking Shen Bree Girl and Defensible, severely checking Left On Read. Left On Read raced wide in the home straight.

Saint Phoenix was slow to begin.  Rag Time Griff, Liberty Royal and Saint Phoenix collided approaching the first turn checking Liberty Royal and Saint Phoenix. Witchie's Gas contacted the rail in the first turn. Saint Phoenix was checked off Liberty Royal on the first turn, Saint Phoenix brushed the running rail as a result.

Witchie’s Gas underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration over the left metatarsal and two ruptured digital extensor tendons.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Chill Out Dusty – Late scratching at 17.37pm on the advice of the On– Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to dehydration. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. 

Facing The Music was quick to begin.  Kanga Lights and  Manila Shine collided soon after the start. Why Not Pockets and Fenway Lights collided on the first turn.  Kanga Lights and Facing The Music collided on the first turn checking Facing The Music.  Fenway Lights was checked off Facing The Music on the home turn. Why Not Pockets raced wide on the home turn.  Fenway Lights and Anubis Al collided entering the home straight.

Facing The Music underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right flexor tendon and left groin.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

She’s Our Rocket and Parumba Rebel collided soon after the start.  Foreman, Cawbourne Toe and She’s Our Rocket collided approaching the first turn checking Foreman and Cawbourne Toe. Cawbourne Coco raced wide on the home turn.  She’s Our Rocket and Galloping Albi collided entering the home straight.  Tribal and She’s Our Rocket raced wide in the home straight.

Princess Lace, Smooth Talker and Talk Talk Talk collided soon after the start checking Smooth Talker.  Kratos Bale and Princess Lace collided approaching the first turn.  Riddles and Parzival collided approaching the first turn. Kratos Bale and Princess Lace collided on the first turn.  Riddles galloped on Princess Lace entering the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Coulson the representative of Kratos Bale as some noticable betting fluctuations were noted by Stewards.  The comments of Mr. Coulson were noted.

Brave Joy was slow to begin.  Blue Tiger and Zipping Imogen collided soon after the start.  Nenna Tears and Zipping Imogen collided on the home turn.  Blue Tiger raced wide in the home straight. Jenny Kay Rose, Brave Joy and Zipping Imogen collided approaching the winning post.

Disorientated, Coolant and Zipping Valerie were quick to begin.  Why Not Dan, Cool Nova and Busy Time collided approaching the first turn.  Disorientated and Zipping Valerie collided approaching the first turn.  Mercury Icon raced wide on the home turn.  Disorientated and Why Not Dan collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.
