Steward's Report
Stewards discussed the frequency of racing for Mason Rocks with trainer, Mr L Green and noted his comments.
A pre-race sample was taken from La Bamba Icon.
Tinker Mary was quick to begin.
College Degree checked off Charley Davidson soon after the start. Mason Rocks and La Bamba Icon collided approaching the first turn, checking La Bamba Icon. Mason Rocks checked off College Degree on the first turn. College Degree raced wide on the home turn. Mason Rocks raced wide in the home straight.
Following the event Mason Rocks underwent a post-race veterinary examination after collapsing in the catching pen. The greyhound was found to have a slow recovery. A seven day stand down penalty was imposed. Acting in accordance with GAR 74 Mason Rocks must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 72 and receive a veterinary clearance before any future nomination will be accepted.
