Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Boes Reward.
Kraskey was slow to begin.
South East Queen crossed out soon after the start and collided with Courtney Lee. Ginger Meggs, South East Queen and Kinloch Journey collided at the 250m mark. South East Queen and Kinloch Journey collided at the 200m mark; severely checking both greyhounds. Ginger Meggs and Courtney Lee collided at the 150m mark. Kranskey and Boes Reward collided at the 100m mark.
Kinloch Journey underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg groin injury. A five day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr A Meyer, trainer of South East Queen, regarding the right blinker used on the greyhound in today's event. Stewards advised Mr Meyer to ensure that he presents a blinker of good quality at future starts.
Stewards willl speak to Mr D Schwarz at a time to be determined to discuss the boximg of Courtney Lee in this event.
