All staff & participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of handling, boxing, starting and catching greyhounds. 

In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'.  At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 28.6 degrees and the kennel temperature was 18.0 degrees. The Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy. 

During kennelling Stewards conducted a carpark check on all trainers’ vehicles engaged in today’s meeting.  Stewards were satisfied that all transport had adhered to the GRV Hot Weather Policy and the GRV Transportation of Greyhounds Policy.

Moriah Bale and Izuku Bale were quick to begin.

Izuku Bale and Palesa Bale collided soon after the start, checking Palesa Bale. Zivion Bale and Negasi Bale collided soon after the start, checking Negasi Bale. Tybalt Bale, Ranako Bale and Zivion Bale collided approaching the first turn, checking Ranako Bale. Tybalt Bale checked off Izuku Bale on the first turn, checking Zivion Bale and Yalena Bale. Palesa Bale checked off Yalena Bale on the home turn and raced wide as a result. Yalena Bale checked off Ranako Bale in the home straight. Tybalt Bale and Moriah Bale collided approaching the winning post.

Rockstar Jelfs, Magic Marjen and Main Force were quick to begin. Without Fear was slow to begin.

Rockstar Jelfs checked off Magic Marjen soon after the start and collided with Avenger Lass. Shivering Stone checked off Gypsy Cinnamon on the first turn. Without Fear brushed the running rail on the first turn. Rockstar Jelfs, Gypsy Cinnamon and Yazid Bale collided approaching the home turn. Rockstar Jelfs raced wide on the home turn. Avenger Lass raced wide on the home turn.

Irene's Star was quick to begin. Swift Sharni was slow to begin. 

Orya Bale checked off Rizzo soon after the start. Rizzo, Jax Star and Lala Juniper collided on the first turn, severely checking Jax Star and Lala Juniper . Orya Bale and Swift Sharni collided approaching the home turn. Jax Star and Lala Juniper collided approaching the home turn. Tinker Jenny raced wide on the home turn.

Radek Bale was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and was passed fit to race.

Instruction and Handsome Jack collided soon after the start, checking Handsome Jack . Cool Customer, Trendy Universe and Smithy Keeping collided soon after the start, checking Smithy Keeping. Aston Santana and Instruction collided approaching the first turn. Instruction checked off Radek Bale on the first turn, checking High Action and Trendy Universe. Trendy Universe and Instruction collided approaching the home turn. High Action checked off Cool Customer on the home turn and raced wide, checking Trendy Universe.

Nihari Bale and Cruisy's Special collided soon after the start. Nino's Girl checked off Have A Roadie soon after the start. Nihari Bale and Nino's Girl collided approaching the first turn. No Talking checked off Have A Roadie on the first turn, checking Cruisy's Special, which collided with Nino's Girl. Nino's Girl and Cruisy's Special collided approaching the winning post.

Ivoria Bale was quick to begin.

Gold Driller and Unbeknownst collided soon after the start. Orwell Bale, Litigator and Gold Driller collided approaching the first turn, checking Litigator. Orwell Bale, Star Night and Invictus Wave collided on the first turn, checking Star Night, Litigator and Unbeknownst. Litigator and Unbeknownst collided in the home straight.  

Numinous was vetted following the event at the trainers request and no apparent injury was detected.

Stewards issued a warning to Trainer Mr J.Guy (Numinous) after he was late in arriving at the kennels to prepare the greyhound for its engagement. GAR(46 (2))

Magic Lantern and Nenna Tears wer quick to begin. Blue Magic Opal was slow to begin.

Numinous, Pirate Lee and Tiger Time collided soon after the start, checking Pirate Lee. Magic Lantern and Roll Your Eyes collided approaching the first turn. Nenna Tears, Nixon Blae and Tiger Time collided on the first turn, severly checking Nixon Bale. Nenna Tears and Numinous collided on the first turn, checking Nenna Tears. Blue Magic Opal and Nenna Tears collided approaching the home turn. Magic Lantern raced wide on the home turn. .

Numinous underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the traners request - No apparent injury was detected.

Aston Spinel was quick to begin. Look Fancy Nancy was slow to begin.

Aston Estate, Lady Pandora, Aston Ultra and Rhonda Lily collided soon after the start, checking Aston Estate and Lady Pandora. Shima Jake checked off Aston Spinel on the first turn, checking Aston Estate and Lady Pandora. Shima Jake galloped on the heels of Aston Estate on the second turn, checking both greyhounds. Aston Estate checked off Aston Spinel on the second turn. Aston Ultra tired over the concluding stages of the race.

Wioleta Bale and Aston Titan were quick to begin.

Walk Me Home and Halberd Bale collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Aerolithology and No Degree collided approaching the first turn. No Degree and Halberd Bale collided approaching the home turn, causing Halberd Bale to race wide. Walk Me Home raced wide in the home straight.

Barellen Pearl, Aston Pilsner, Parlo Bale, Mystic Rose and Sarcasmic collided soon after the start, checking Aston Pilsner and Mystic Rose. Parlo Bale, Sarcasmic and Romeo Bale collided approaching the first turn, checking Romeo Bale, Sarcasmic and Mystic Rose. Romeo Bale raced wide approaching the home turn, checking Aston Pilsner. Romeo Bale raced wide in the home straight.

Zipping Aubry and La La Nebraska collided soon after the start. La La Nebraska checked off Harmon Bale approaching the first turn. La La Nebraska, Zipping Aubry and Crackerjack Zave collided on the first turn, checking  La La Nebraska and Crackerjack Zave. Zipping Aubry and For The Thrill collided on the home turn.

Cawbourne Cooper was quick to begin. Southwood Ace was slow to begin.

Forty Free Beans galloped on the heels of Mastermind Kid on the first turn, checking Forty Free Beans and severly checking Mastermind Kid. Pete Cabang raced wide entering the home straight.

Mastermind Kid underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle muscle injury..  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
