Kiwi Billy was slow to begin.  Zardora was very slow to begin.  Dr. Danika checked off Flywheel Cracker on the first turn.  Liberty Royal and Dancing Cassie collided on the first turn.  Flywheel Cracker and Kiwi Billy collided in the home straight.

Elswyk Storm and Bigsy were quick to begin.  Dr. Francisco was slow to begin.  Bomber's Smokey and Barwidgi collided on the first turn checking Bomber's Smokey, Barwidgi and Meg Rose.  Dr. Francisco checked off Bomber's Smokey on the first turn.  Saint Phoenix galloped on Barwidgi approaching the home turn.  Bomber's Smokey galloped on Saint Phoenix approaching the home turn.  Head On Bonnie raced wide in the home straight.

Golden Skyrocket was quick to begin.  Zachary was slow to begin.  Nathan Ryder and Dale From Sale collided approaching the first turn.  Marco and Dr. Macie collided on the first turn.  Nathan Ryder and Dale From Sale collided on the first turn checking Dale From Sale and Dr. Macie severely checking Nathan Ryder.  Lakeview Lilly brushed the running rail on the first turn.

Aston Balade was quick to begin.  Luxury Art was slow to begin.  Aston Balade, Patience Pays and Evaluate collided approaching the first turn checking Patience Pays.  Aston Balade and Evaluate collided on the first turn checking Evaluate and Luxury Art severely checking Aston Balade, Lara's Love and Betty Spolly.  Betty Spolly checked off Aston Balade on the first turn.  Aston Balade and Lara's Love collided several times in the home straight.

Sunshine Spolly checked off Jillissa soon after the start.  Sunshine Spolly checked off Call Me Harvey on the first turn.  Call Me Harvey galloped on Captain Cruiser on the first turn.  Captain Cruiser, Call Me Harvey and Jillissa collided on the first turn checking Jillissa.  Fernando's Boy and Bomber's Wonder collided on the first turn.  Flash Spolly checked off Captain Cruiser on the home turn.

Why Not Gigi was quick to begin.  Leo Rose and California Blond were slow to begin.  Block Star checked off Judge Hook approaching the first turn.  Judge Hook and Victory Chase collided on the first turn checking Victory Chase and California Blond.  Eilish and Leo Rose collided on the home turn.  Judge Hook, Victory Chase and California Blond raced wide in the home straight.

McLinden was quick to begin.  Fargo and American Spy collided on the first turn checking American Spy and Kismet Storm.  American Spy and Kismet Storm collided entering the back straight checking both greyhounds.  Bobby Bean Rose and McLinden collided on the second turn.  Fargo and Low Blow collided on the second turn.  McLinden and Kismet Storm collided in the home straight.

Lady Kin Lee - Late scratching at 16:57 under GAR 37(4) on the advice of the On-track Veterinarian after the greyhound was found to be infested with fleas.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance stating the condition no longer exists before any future nomination will be accepted.

Maxwell was slow to begin.  Aston Shine and Madalia Daisy collided on the first turn.  Maxwell and Persian Goddess collided on the first turn checking Persian Goddess.  Aston Shine and Jet Lee Rose collided on the home turn.

Jet Lee Rose underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hind fibula injury.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Harrigan was slow to begin.  Reverse Outright and Bromley collided soon after the start and again on the first turn.  General Collinda and Jenny Kay Rose collided on the first turn.  Reverse Outright and Bromley collided in the back straight.  Bromley and Holiday In Paris collided on the second turn checking both greyhounds.

Trainer Mr Mark McClelland formally applied to Stewards to withdraw Belt Up Ronny after he mistakenly nominated the greyhound for this distance of race. In accepting the application to withdraw, the Stewards issued a charge to Mr McClelland under GAR 86 (o) for mistakenly nominating Belt Up Ronny, which was considered by the Stewards to be negligent. Mr McClelland pleaded guilty to the charge and after considering the circumstance surrounding the commission of the offence, a fine of $200 was issued with half suspended for 12 months pending no further similar nomination related issues in that period of time.

Nullify and He's A Minstrel were slow to begin.  Airly Blueboy checked off Why Not Hutch on the first turn.  Grawlix crossed to the rail on the first turn and collided with Why Not Hutch checking Airly Blueboy, He's A Minstrel and Go Gem severely checking Why Not Hutch.  Dr. Lynch checked off Grawlix approaching the home turn.  Airly Blueboy and Why Not Hutch collided in the home straight.

Inuka was quick to begin.  Splinter and Sneaky Mojo collided approaching the first turn.  Duke Of Airly and Nicko Express collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Gosh and Bidgee Boy collided on the first turn.  Gosh and Bidgee Boy collided approaching the home turn checking Bidgee Boy and Sneaky Mojo.  Nicko Express and Bidgee Boy collided on the home turn.  Sneaky Mojo raced wide in the home straight.
