All staff & participants attending the race-meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings and when engaged in the exclusive race-day functions of handling, boxing, starting & catching greyhounds.
A pre-race sample was taken from Major Giblet.
Dewana Lynda was quick to begin. Major Gilbert and Whakahoro were slow to begin.
Dewana Whatever and Agent Swan collided approaching the first turn. Dewana Lynda and Agent Swan collided on the first turn, checking Dewana Lynda which caused Dewana Lynda and Dewana Whatever to collide.
