Steward's Report
Rebecca Gay, Shall She Charm and Bye The Way were quick to begin. Freda Rocks and Spirit Energy were slow to begin.
Bye The Way checked off Shall She Charm on the first turn causing Bye The Way and Freda Rocks to collide, checking Freda Rock and severely checking Bye The Way which lost ground as a result. Freda Rocks checked off Yellowtail Bear approaching the third turn. Shall She Charm and Rebecca Gay collided entering the back straight. Yellowtail Bear and Freda Rocks collided in the back straight, on the fourth turn and again in the home straight.
Bye The Way underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the left forepaw. No stand down period was imposed.
