Steward's Report
Frothy's Jett was quick to begin.
Jeziah Bale, Rahim Bale, Willene Bale and Sadiki Bale collided soon after the start, checking Rahim Bale and Willene Bale. Pabbie Bale and Pongo collided on the first turn, severely checking Pongo. Jeziah Bale and Sadiki Bale collided on the home turn. Frothy's Jett turned its head outwards, visibly eased and collided with Siren Head causing Siren Head to be checked. Frothy's Jett veered out approaching the winning post and marred Siren Head, resulting in Siren Head being severely checked.
Frothy's Jett underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr.J.Campbell, the trainer of Frothy's Jett regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Frothy's Jett was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. J. Campbell pleaded guilty to the charge, Frothy's Jett was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat only and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
