All persons attending the venue today carried face masks, observed social distance requirements, and maintained room density quotients for the race meeting.

Mono Chromatic and Saniyah Bale were quick to begin,  Cairnlea Winnie and Saint Bluey were slow to begin.

Saniyah Bale, Quincee Bale and Glenore Lass collided on the first turn, checking Glenore Lass and Cairnlea Winnie. Steven clipped the heels of Mono Chromatic approaching the home turn.

It was noted that the muzzle of Cairnlea Winnie became partially dislodged during the running of the event.

Navaeh Bale and Pure Mania were quick to begin. Birdbrook and Vardan Bale were slow to begin. 

Seabrook Baker and Birdbrook collided approaching the first turn, checking Birdbrook. Agnet Bale, Balbina Bale, Vardan Bale and Get Around Me collided on the first turn. Balbina Bale, Vardan Bale and Get Around Me collided approaching the home turn, checking Vardan Bale. Balbina Bale and Get Around Me collided approaching the home turn, causing Get Around Me to race wide. Get Around Me and Navaeh Bale collided on the home turn. Agnet Bale and Pure Mania collided approaching the winning post. 

Frothy's Jett was quick to begin. 

Jeziah Bale, Rahim Bale, Willene Bale and Sadiki Bale collided soon after the start, checking Rahim Bale and Willene Bale. Pabbie Bale and Pongo collided on the first turn, severely checking Pongo. Jeziah Bale and Sadiki Bale collided on the home turn. Frothy's Jett turned its head outwards, visibly eased and collided with Siren Head causing Siren Head to be checked. Frothy's Jett veered out approaching the winning post and marred Siren Head, resulting in Siren Head being severely checked. 

Frothy's Jett underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Stewards spoke to Mr.J.Campbell, the trainer of Frothy's Jett regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight..  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Frothy's Jett was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr. J. Campbell pleaded guilty to the charge, Frothy's Jett was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat only and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Gypsy Andy and Roxy Smirnoff were quick to begin. 

Skibo Boy and Zivon Bale collided soon after the start, checking Skibo Boy. Black Robin and Gypsy Andy collided on the first turn. Ranako Bale and Roxy Smirnoff collided on the first turn, checking Ranako Bale. Zivon Bale and Gypsy Andy collided on the home turn, checking Tybalt Bale. Zivon Bale galloped on the heels of Roxy Smirnoff in the home straight became un balanced and fell, resulting in Gypsy Andy being checked.

Zivon Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and it was reported the greyhound displayed soreness to the left fore leg.   A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

South Song, Trendy Universe and Clean Slate collided soon after the start. Uforo Bale and Amlin Storm collided approaching the first turn. Trendy Universe and Amlin Storm collided on the first turn, severely checking Amlin Storm. Clean Slate and Tiggerlong Bundy collided appraoching the home turn. South Song raced wide in the home straight. 

Ultra Lightbeam was quick to begin.

Aston Spinel, Konta and Go Quantum collided on the first turn, checking Aston Spinel and Brute. Aston Spinel and Ultra Lightbeam collided approaching the home turn. Fabroni Bale raced wide throughout the event.

Trending Zircon, Braemar Prince and Masked Avenger collided approaching the first turn, checking Masked Avenger and Braemar Prince. Gypsy Zelda, Coco Nova, Masked Avenger, Sharky Shark, Daph's Ascend and Tan Star collided on the first turn, checking Daph's Ascend, Gypsy Zelda, Sharky Shark and Coco Nova. Coco Nova checked off Sharky Shark approaching the home turn. Daph's Ascend and Tan Star collided on the home turn. Coco Nova and Sharky Shark collided on the home turn.

Gypsy Zelda underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a metatarsal fracture, right hind leg.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Bomb Proof was slow to begin.

Xamira Bale and Lala Phoenix collided approaching the first turn, checking Xamira Bale, Roxy Tequila and Fergusta Bale, severely checking Lala Phoenix. Rockstar Stanley checked off Derry Express on the first turn. Xamira Bale and Rockstar Stanley collided approaching the home turn. Rockstar Stanley and Roxy Tequila collided entering the home straight. Xamira Bale and Rockstar Stanley collided approaching the winning post.Lala Phoenix tailed off and was vetted after the event.

Lala Phoenix underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have possible tibia fracture left leg.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Jullisa Bale – Late scratching at 6.14 pm due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer, Ms. S. Grenfell was fined $100.

Magic Lantern and Belena Blaze were quick to begin.

Trending Air and Aston Ultra collided soon after the start. Brother Bearing and Foreman collided soon after the start, checking Foreman. Aston Ultra and Brother Bearing collided on the first turn. Big Alfie checked off Belena Blaze on the first turn. Belena Blaze raced wide in the home straight. Brother Bearing, Big Alfie and Trending Air collided approaching the winning post.

As the amber light was turned on, the sprinkling system momentarily activated on the home turn.

Cobra Kai and Ordelia Bale collided soon after the start, checking Ordelia Bale. Awesome Ability, Roxy Vodka and Sagacious collided approaching the first turn, checking Roxy Vodka. Card Declined and Sagacious collided on the first turn, checking Card Declined, which collided with Cobra Kai. Awesome Ability raced wide on the home turn. Roxy Usuki and Card Declined collided entering the home straight, checking Card Declined. 

Card Declined underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a chest injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
