Cobra Kai and Ramona collided approaching the first turn.  Kraken Shimmer clipped the heels of Slingshot Tiller on the first turn; checking Cobra Kai, Jafar Bale and Left On Read; severely checking Ramona and Kraken Shimmer.  Ramona raced wide entering the home straight.

Makes Cents was quick to begin.

Xavien Bale, All Inn Dungee, Yohan Bale and Golden Teddy collided approaching the first turn.  Xavien Bale, All Inn Dungee, Kinson Bale and Yohan Bale collided on the first turn; checking All Inn Dungee and Yohan Bale.  Xavien Bale and Kinson Bale collided on the first turn; checking both greyhounds.  Xavien Bale and Kinson Bale collided on the home turn, checking Xavien Bale.  All Inn Dungee and Golden Teddy collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr T Duncan regarding the racing manners of All Inn Dungee approaching the finishing line.  After hearing submissions from Mr Duncan, viewing all the available race footage, acting on their observations and considering the nature of the matter, Stewards took no further action.

Coconut Miss was quick to begin.

Grace Cabang and Jump Into Action collided soon after the start.  Jump Into Action, Freda Rocks and Poppy Passion collided on the first turn; checking all three greyhounds.  Freda Rocks checked off Prince Of Idol approaching the back straight, checking Poppy Passion.  Prince Of Idol and Freda Rocks collided on the second turn, checking Prince Of Idol.  Freda Rocks shifted out and marred Jump Into Action on the home turn; causing both greyhounds to collide several times on the home turn.  Jump Into Action and Freda Rocks collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.

Freda Rocks underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Mr M Briganti, the trainer of Freda Rocks regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Freda Rocks was charged with marring.  Mr Briganti pleaded guilty to the charge, Freda Rocks was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

A post-race sample was taken from Coconut Miss - the winner of the event.

Aston Gwen was quick to begin.  Equalizer was slow to begin.

Sonny Daze, Chun Li, Dream Wizard and Denzell Bale collided on the first turn; checking Equalizer, Dream Wizard and Denzell Bale; severely checking Chun Li, which fell and failed to finish as a result.  Broken Promise and Aston Gwen collided approaching the home turn checking Broken Promise.

Chun Li underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left foreleg deltoid muscle and wrist injuries.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Wynburn Sheean and Wendalin Bale collided approaching the first turn.  Gotham Duke and Max's Idol collided on the first turn, checking Maxi's Idol.  Gotham Duke and Wendalin Bale collided on the first turn; checking Wendalin Bale and Bees And Honey.  Wynburn Sheean checked off Catch The Thief approaching the home turn; severely checking Wynburn Sheean and Gold Driller.

Sovereign King was slow to begin.

Extra Speed – Late scratching at 6:11 pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to an elevated temperature.  A five day stand down period was imposed.

Mr D Geall failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Maasai Mara for racing.  A warning was issued pursuant to GAR 46 (2).

Mr W Gummow failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Nitro Roxy for racing.  A warning was issued pursuant to GAR 46 (2).
