All staff & participants attending the race-meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race-day functions of handling, boxing, starting and catching greyhounds.

Lenny Fox and Peaky Pub collided soon after the start.  Aston Lavina galloped on Courageous Swan on the first turn, checking Courageous Swan.  Peaky Pub checked off Aston Skylar on the first turn, checking Courageous Swan.  Lenny Fox and Peaky Pub collided entering the back straight; checking Peaky Pub and Five Star.  Courageous Swan checked off Aston Skylar in the back straight.  Five Star checked off Peaky Pub approaching the home turn.  Courageous Swan turned its head outwards and collided with Aston Skylar approaching the home turn, checking Aston Skylar.  Aston Skylar and Courageous Swan collided several times entering the home straight; checking both greyhounds.  Peaky Pub and Galloping Albi collided entering the home straight.  Galloping Albi and Five Star collided in the home straight.  Lenny Fox and Peaky Pub collided approaching the winning post.

Bodine underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the right hindleg.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Peaky Pub underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Courageous Swan underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg wrist injury, a seven day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to handler, Mrs J Greenough regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Courageous Swan was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mrs Greenough pleaded not guilty to the charge, Courage Swan was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Keep It Black was slow to begin.

Mepunga Warrior and Weblec Rebel collided soon after the start.  Mepunga Warrior, Weblec Rebel and Flying Lantern collided on the first turn; checking Flying Lantern; severely checking Mepunga Warrior and Keep It Black, both fell as a result.  Major Sacrifice, Big Wings and Taiepa collided on the first turn; checking Big Wings and Taiepa.  Big Wings turned its head outwards and marred Flying Lantern approaching the home turn, checking Flying Lantern.  Big Wings checked off Weblec Rebel entering the home straight.

Mepunga Warrior underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Keep It Black underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg hip injury.  A seven day stand down period was imposed.

Big Wings uunderwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr B Pursell regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Big Wings was charged with marring.  Mr Pursell pleaded guilty to the charge, Big Wings was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Memphis Keeping and She Excites collided soon after the start.  Kutcher's Ruslie and Bowled Underarm collided approaching the first turn.  Memphis Keeping checked off Walk Me Home approaching the first turn.  Kutcher's Ruslie and Busy Bella collided on the first turn, checking Busy Bella.  Grindylow and Bowled Underarm collided approaching the home turn.  Grindylow checked off Bowled Underarm entering the home straight.

Tiger's Twenty and Run Robyn Run collided soon after the start.  So Hazy checked off Roll Your Eyes approaching the first turn.  Way To Important and So Hazy collided on the first turn; checking So Hazy and Tiger's Twenty.  Run Robyn Run and Rockstar Manners collided on the first turn.  Way To Important and Run Robyn Run collided on the first turn, checking Run Robyn Run.  Tiger's Twenty checked off Nadali on the third turn; severely checking Run Robyn Run, which fell.  So Hazy and Way To Important collided entering the home straight.  Rockstar Manners clipped the heels of Nadali entering the home straight.

Run Robyn Run underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left wrist and shoulder muscle.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Curfew was slow to begin.

Born A Runner, Lot Coin Babe and Kenny The Brute collided on the first turn, checking Born A Runner.  Mepunga Missile and Party Lights collided on the first turn; checking both greyhounds.  Born A Runner checked off Lot Coin Babe on the first turn, checking Mepunga Missile.  Kenny The Brute and Midnight Force collided on the second turn, checking Midnight Force.  Curfew and Party Lights collided on the second turn.  Mepunga Missile checked off Kenny The Brute on the third turn, checking Midnight Force.  Lot Coin Babe and Kenny The Brute collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.
