Steward's Report
The traditional 2-wave (odds then evens) boxing process has been re-instated for all races in Victoria from Tuesday 10 November 2020. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.
All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face masks that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Uncle Chuck was slow to begin and pulled up soon after the start.
Well Built crossed in on the first turn checking Dr. Vivian. Barwidgi and Well Built collided approaching the home turn. Dr. Vivian and Well Built collided on the home turn.
Uncle Chuck underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury. Mr. Lewis Green declined the option to have the greyhound re-vetted. Stewards spoke to Mr. Green, the trainer of Uncle Chuck regarding the greyhound’s racing manners soon after the start. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Uncle Chuck was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Green pleaded guilty to the charge, Uncle Chuck was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Cranbourne and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A(2)(a) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Cool Fresco underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
