Steward's Report
The traditional 2-wave (odds then evens) boxing process has been re-instated for all races in Victoria from Tuesday 10 November 2020. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.
All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face masks that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

A pre-race sample was taken from Billy's The Boss.
Shen Bree Girl was slow to begin. Sassy Galaxy and Ordelia Bale collided soon after the start. Give Me Elle and Minutiae collided approaching the first turn. Ordelia Bale, Cassia Bale, Billy's The Boss, Give Me Elle and Minutiae collided on the first turn checking Cassia Bale, Give Me Elle and Minutiae and severely checking Ordelia Bale which fell as a result. Minutiae was checked off Cassia Bale on the home turn. Shen Bree Girl raced wide in the home straight. Cassia Bale and Minutiae collided approaching the winning post.
Ordelia Bale underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right wrist. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Minutiae underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.
