Through The Dark was quick to begin.
Fashion Icon, Hank The Hustler and Cosmic Sparkle collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Fashion Icon and Debbie's Destiny collided approaching the third turn. Fashion Icon crossed to the outside entering the back straight and collided with Debbie's Destiny. Fashion Icon and Debbie's Destiny collided approaching the third turn. Fashion Icon raced wide on the third turn and collided with Debbie's Destiny.
Fashion Icon underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mrs Marien Sullivan, the trainer of Fashion Icon regarding its performance on the third turn.
