Bomber's Cruiser was slow to begin. Bindi Girl and Madalia Pixie collided approaching the first turn. Madalia Daisy and Bomber's Cruiser collided approaching the first turn. Madalia Pixie and Bomber's Cruiser collided on the first turn checking Bomber's Cruiser. Bindi Girl checked off Ripplebrook Mack on the first turn.
Bomber's Cruiser underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
