Where's Bozo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness in both triangles. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Tolson, the trainer of the greyhound Where's Bozo.  Stewards deemed the performance of Where's Bozo unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Where's Bozo must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Little Miss Sin was a late scratching at 2:26pm on Veterinary advice (GAR 37). Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mr. Missen was slow to begin. Asuka Bale and Princess Whirl collided soon after the start. Pawsative and Asuka Bale collided on the first turn checking Pawsative. Princess Whirl and Miss Trinidad collided in the back straight. Beemo and Fantasy Express collided on the second turn.

Pawsative was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness in the left tricep. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

Toy Tsunami went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Blade Bale and Whipstick Lachie collided soon after the start. Toy Tsunami galloped on the heels of  Wood Shed on the first turn checking Wood Shed. Cab Stopper checked off Blade Bale entering the home straight. Wood Shed checked off Toy Tsunami in the home straight.

Wood Shed was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left tricep injury. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

Everlasting Gaze went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Bit Of Alright was slow to begin. Zabriskie, Tayler's Special, Ivana Win, Premier Porscha, Left Outside and All Inn Black collided approaching the first turn, checking Ivana Win, Premier Porscha, Left Outside and All Inn Black. Zabriskie checked off Tayler's Special on the first turn. Left Outside checked off Bit Of Alright on the first turn checking Everlasting Gaze with Premier Porscha and Left Outside falling as a result. Zabriskie contacted the running rail approaching the home turn severely checking Zabriskie.

Zabriskie was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness in both shoulders. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

Premier Porscha was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a cut to the right gluteus and soreness in both shoulders. A stand down period of 10 days was imposed.

Left Outside was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a cut on the left tricep. A stand down period of 14 days was imposed.

Grifter Bale and Flash Fizz collided approaching the first turn. Jetta Can Run checked off Grifter Bale on the first turn severely checking Jetta Can Run and Flash Fizz with both greyhounds racing wide as a result. Sushi Bale checked off Can Of Worms approaching the second turn.

Flash Fizz was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness in both shoulders and a spike wound to the right hind foot. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.

Tevez was quick to begin. Ozzy Bale was slow to begin. Rapido Gris and Stop The Clock collided soon after the start. Ozzy Bale raced wide in the home straight. Hoover Jack and Royal Tone collided soon after the start.

Hoover Jack was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness in the right groin and right triangle. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Tom Mitchell the handler of Hoover Jack with regard to the greyhound's overall performance. Mr. Mitchell stated in his opinion Hoover Jack had begun awkwardly and soon after the start received pressure from Royal Tone. He further added from this point on Hoover Jack failed to muster speed and maintained contact with the remainder of the field. Stewards noted Mr. Mitchell's explanation and took no further action.

Pirate Bay and Street Life collided soon after the start. Super Leggera and Team Player collided soon after the start. Street Life and Super Leggera collided approaching the first turn checking Super Leggera. Premier Magpie, Pirate Bay and Street Life collided approaching the first turn checking Pirate Bay. Pirate Bay and Super Leggera collided approaching the home turn. Maggie's Revenge checked off Allen Barry approaching the home turn. Team Player and Allen Barry collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight.

Oriental Lotus was slow to begin. Dyna Zerg and How Time Fly's collided soon after the start. Tair Affair galloped on the heels of How Time Fly's approaching the home turn checking How Time Fly's.

Jungle Warfare was slow to begin. Jungle Warfare and Our Pale Ale collided entering the home straight. Starosta checked off Rock Legend entering the home straight. Our Pale Ale and Connemara Fire collided approaching the winning post.

Dr. Bunsen was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Fanciful Moments and Spotted Lucy were slow to begin. Lektra Candy, Twilight Vixen and Cawbourne Rocka collided approaching the home turn checking Twilight Vixen and Cawbourne Rocka. Fanciful Moments and Cawbourne Rocka collided on the home turn.

Twilight Vixen was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness in the right triangle. A stand down period of 3 days was imposed.

Irish Down Under was slow to begin.  Raven Pearl and Where's Mambo collided approaching the first turn checking Where's Mambo. Irish Down Under and Notso Funny collided on the home turn.

Twentyfour Carat and Davis were slow to begin. Stylish Autumn and Small Blessings collided approaching the first turn. Mohinga Max and Crosscheck collided approaching the first turn checking Crosscheck and In The Flesh. Twentyfour Carat eased approaching the first turn. Stylish Autumn and Small Blessings collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Scherri Lee Lass and In The Flesh collided appraoching the home turn checking Scherri Lee Lass. Twentyfour Carat and Small Blessings collided entering the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Jake Collins, the handler of the greyhound Twentyfour Carat.  Twentyfour Carat was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness in the back and injuries to the right triangle and the left shoulder. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Twentyfour Carat with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Meeting Comments: 

Satisfactory Trial Results - Quicker Than Al trialled over the 425mts from box 1, weight 32.1, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4 starters. The time of the trial was 24.47 the greyhound won by a margin of 2 lengths. Quicker Than Al was Cleared.
