Ever Alert and Southwood Flame collided approaching the first turn. Capacity checked off Rashad Reason on the first turn. Rashad Reason galloped on the heels of Seanna Celeste on the first turn. Spring Spaniard checked off Rashad Reason on the first turn, severely checking Capacity and causing Super Recall to fall. Ever Alert and Southwood Flame checked off Santa's Special approaching the home turn. Ever Alert and Spring Spaniard collided approaching the home turn.
Super Recall was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a grade 3 tear to the right bicep muscle and wounds to the left toe, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.
