Our Danny Boy and Black Salt collided soon after the start checking Our Danny Boy. Thunderous Cheer, Bound For Vegas, Black SAlt and Why Not Heather collided on the first turn severely checking Black Salt, Thunderous Cheer and Bound For Vegas.
Black Salt was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right thigh and spike wound to the right hind foot. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Bound For Vegas was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injuries to the left hind muscle, left calf muscle and left thigh. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
