Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face masks that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Amy's Alone and Howdy Slim collided on the first turn. Daph's Bella checked off Amy's Alone on the first turn. Amy's Alone and Howdy Slim collided entering the home straight.

Bella Bonnie was quick to begin. Benefit Summary was slow to begin. 

Casanova Man and Benefit Summary collided approaching the first turn. Benefit Summary checked off Star Gem on the first turn. Kibitzer and Dominus collided on the first turn. Bella Bonnie and Kibitzer collided approaching the home turn checking Bella Bonnie and Star Gem. Casanova Man and Magic Indeed collided on the home turn. Benefit Summary raced wide on the home turn.

Bella Bonnie underwent a post-race veterinary examination after pulling up short of the catching pen - no apparent injury was reported.

Let's Roll was quick to begin. Gellar Bale was slow to begin.

Aeroplane Miss and Why Not Gigi collided approaching the first turn checking Gellar Bale and Cloncurry Girl. Why Not Gigi and Take A Daisy collided on the home turn. Why Not Gigi raced wide entering the home straight.

Mindil Beach checked off Hook Along Pippa soon after the start. Go The Doves checked off Indigo Indy approaching the first turn. Mindil Beach and Go The Doves collided approaching the second turn. Hook Along Pippa raced wide and collided with Indigo Indy on the second turn. Mindil Beach and Go The Doves collided on the third turn checking Mindil Beach.

Hook Along Pippa underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right carpal sprain. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr Guy Bartlett failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Knuckles for racing. A warning was issued pursuant to GAR 46 (2).

Lamotta and More Wit were slow to begin.

Wolfie's Swagger, Knuckles and Midnight Breeze collided on the first turn, checking Wolfie's Swagger and Lamotta and severely checking Knuckles; Lamotta contacted the running rail as a result. Lamotta galloped on Knuckles approaching the home turn. Wolfie's Swagger and More Wit collided several times approaching the winning post.

Chasing Beers and Dundee Price collided soon after the start checking Dundee Prince. Jebrynah Octave, Hip Hippy Shake and Chasing Beers collided approaching the first turn, checking Jebrynah Octave, Baby Eden and Why Not Lilah and causing Gardener's Boyo to gallop on Dundee Prince. Baby Eden and Why Not Lilah collided on the home turn. Hip Hippy Shake and Gardener's Boyo collided in the home straight.

Hard At It was slow to begin.

Mountain Goat and Black Heel High collided approaching the first turn. Mountain Goat, Black Heel High and Horace Bale collided on the first turn, checking Black Heel High who raced wide as a result and severely checking Hard At It and Horace Bale. Split Pea and Lennie's Flyer collided on the first turn. 

Mountain Goat underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Hard At It - Stewards were satisfied with the boxing of the greyhound and removed the boxed first endorsement for future events in accordance with GAR 52.

What A Kicker was slow to begin.

Rosta Power and Lady Elegance collided approaching the first turn. Shifter Magic checked off Just Love on the first turn, checking Lady Elegance and severely checking Violation which lost considerable ground.

Fran Keeping and Architecture were slow to begin.

Maximum Trina crossed in approaching the first turn severely checking Toyman Time, My Lil Angel and Glascoe Sally; causing Toyman Tim to contact the running rail and Glascoe Sally to fall.

Toyman Tim underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Glascoe Sally underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right pectoral muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
