Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore facemasks that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Jet Burner checked off Your Queen soon after the start. Honey's Destiny and Finnegan Bale collided at the 250m mark. Treacle, Your Queen and Jet Burner collided at the 200m mark.

Without Fear was slow to begin.

All Inn June, Crackerjack Baz and Blazin' Jewel collided soon after the start. Without Fear and All Inn June collided approaching the 200m mark severely checking Without Fear which faltered and lost considerable ground.

Without Fear underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left front split webbing. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Maddox Bale was slow to begin.

Wow Anna and Kody Talks collided soon after the start. Nyssa's Girl and Mt. View Dodger collided approaching the 250m mark. Ruby's Rosa checked off Nyssa's Girl approaching the 250m mark. Mt. View Dodger checked off Kody Talks approaching the 100m mark. Ruby's Rosa and Jazzy Arandt collided at the 100m mark. 

Stewards spoke to Mr Trevor Whitford, the trainer of Mt. View Dodger, as some noticeable betting fluctuations were observed on fixed odds. Mr Whitford stated that he did not support the greyhound today but expected a forward showing. Stewards noted the explanation and a post-race sample was subsequently taken after the greyhound finished in second position. 

Shifty and Smash Flash were slow to begin.

Shifty checked off Maximum Trina soon after the start. Shifty and Ted's Dream collided at the 250m mark.

A pre-race sample was taken from Dutch Ambition. 

Paw Behaviour, Hot Streak and Smoking Syd collided soon after the start. Also Arandt and Dutch Ambition collided soon after the start. Paw Behaviour and Warrior Armo collided approaching the 200m mark. Dutch Ambition galloped on Boes High Five approaching the 150m mark. Paw Behaviour and Boes High Five collided at the 100m mark. Boes High Five checked off Dutch Ambition at the 50m mark. Hot Streak and Smoking Syd collided approaching the winning post. 

A post-race sample was taken from Also Arandt - the winner of the event.

Potente Rocks - New declared weight of 32.4kg, last raced at 31.2kg.

Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) starter, Courtney Ryan did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.

Warrior Jake and Lea Arandt were slow to begin.

Warm Beer checked off Lennie's Flyer soon after the start. Too Much Talking, Potente Rocks, Jax Flash and Lennie's Flyer collided at the 300m mark checking Potente Rocks and Jax Flash. Lea Arandt and Lennie's Flyer collided at the 150m mark. Too Much Talking and Lea Arandt collided at the 50m mark checking Too Much Talking.

Wilbury and Bob's Malow were slow to begin.

Midnight Marzy checked off Sin Dinero at the 150m mark.

Aston Milla underwent a post-race veterinary examination following an incident in the catching pen and was re-examined following Race 9. Aston Milla was found to have a right monkey muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Starchie and Blast Zone collided at the 200m mark. Harry's My Name and Starchie collided at the 200m mark. Harry's My Name checked off Blast Zone at the 100m mark. Boes Reward and Harry's My Name collided approaching the winning post.

A pre-race sample was taken from Front Bar. 

Come On Levendi and Mindful Reality collided approaching the 250m mark. Kingy Lights galloped on Come On Levendi at the 250m mark and collided with Free Kick Hawks, checking Kingy Lights, Free Kick Hawks and Come On Levendi. Kingy Lights galloped on Front Bar approaching the 150m mark.

Stewards noted that My Dark Rose raced without a muzzle from the 250m mark after becoming dislodged.  

A post-race sample was taken from Mindful Reality - the winner of the event.

Papa Panda was slow to begin.

Mighty Tracey crossed to the rail soon after the start and collided with Soho Girl, checking Mighty Tracey, Soho Girl, Patchie Two Dots and Josie's Call.

Jiggly Wiggly - Late scratching at 9:58am on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a right hamstring injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Courtney Lee checked off Tinker Chuck soon after the start. Dust Up, Tinker Chuck and Bright Flash collided at the 250m mark. Courtney Lee checked off Dust Up at the 100m mark.

A pre-race sample was taken from Samba King. 

Further Dreamer and Almapa Gallucci collided soon after the start. Haboob shifted out at the 250m mark and collided with Calcaneal, checking Just Jimmy and Calcaneal. Further Dreamer, Almapa Gallucci and Just Jimmy collided at the 200m mark. Just Jimmy and Calcaneal collided at the 50m mark.

Almapa Gallucci underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foot laceration. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
