Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID–19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4–wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore facemasks/covers that in–turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race–day functions and operations.

Singing Flame - Late scratching at 6.16pm due to the incorrect greyhound being presented (GAR 31). Due to the circumstances surrounding the non–presentation, Trainer G. Harding was fined $250.

Idalia Bale and Razor Red were quick to begin.

Correct and Midnight Ruins collided soon after the start. Correct checked off Midnight Ruins approaching the first turn. Seabrook Balta checked off Graclyn Bale approaching the first turn. Midnight Ruins shifted to the outside approaching the home turn colliding with Correct forcing Correct to race wide as a result.

Midnight Ruins underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

King Max was slow to begin.

Henryk Bale crossed to the rail soon after the start colliding with Giaan's Girl. Daph's Echo and Blackpool Pyro collided soon after the start. Giaan's Girl checked off Henryk Bale approaching the first turn.  Henryk Bale checked off Blackpool Pyro on the first turn severely checking Henryk Bale. King Max and Daph's Echo raced wide on the home turn. King Max checked off Daph's Echo in the home straight.  Black Phoenix and Giaan's Girl collided approaching the winning post.

Another Easy was quick to begin.

Daph's Wally checked off Mr. America soon after the start checking Zipping Cookie and Zipping Norman. Aston Master checked off Daph's Farrah approaching the first turn. Zipping Cookie and Zipping Norman collided approaching the first turn. Daph's Wally checked off Aston Master approaching the first turn. Zipping Cookie and Daph's Wally collided entering the home straight. Zipping Cookie turned its head inwards and eased approaching the winning post colliding with Daph's Wally.

Zipping Cookie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Handler, Ms R. Church regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Zipping Cookie was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms Church pleaded guilty to the charge, Zipping Cookie was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Fabriola Acai checked off Daph's Zac soon after the start. Nino's Girl checked off Hear The Drum approaching the first turn. Perfect Glory checked off Hear The Drum approaching the first turn checking Nino's Girl. Daph's Zac checked off Hear The Drum on the first turn. Perfect Glory raced wide on the home turn. Parlo Bale raced wide in the home straight. Daph's Zac checked off Fabriola Acai in the home straight.

Nera Enough, Mr. Mufasa and Choir Magic collided on the first turn checking Nera Enough and severely checking Mr. Mufasa and Choir Magic. Zambora Bear, Zipping Imogen and Dayana Bale collided on the first turn. Liverpool Flyer checked off Zambora Bear on the home turn.
