Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 &6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore facemasks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Rockin' Rose was slow to begin. Lawful Man and Moraine Shadow collided soon after the start. Moraine Shadow checked off Taiepa approaching the first turn. Alpine Blaze, Rockin' Rosie and Moraine Shadow collided approaching the first turn checking Moraine Shadow. Taiepa checked off Token Lilly on the first turn checking Rockin' Rosie and Moraine Shadow. Rockin' Rosie and Moraine Shadow collided on the third turn. Alpine Blaze marred Taiepa from entering the home straight to approaching the winning post severely checking Taiepa.

Moraine Shadow underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left monkey muscle and left chest. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Alpine Blaze underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Barry Mills regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Alpine Blaze was charged with marring. Mr Mills pleaded guilty to the charge, Alpine Blaze is suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A post-race sample was taken from Token Lilly - Winner of the event.

Silky Riot and Fine Intention were quick to begin. Grime Time Zues checked off Caveman Yap approaching the first turn. Silky Riot lost ground approaching the second turn. Star Ballerina and Caveman Yap collided on the second turn. Grime Time Zeus checked off Caveman Yap approaching the third turn. Lump Sum checked off Star Ballerina entering the back straight. Caveman Yap raced wide in the back straight. Star Ballerina, Lump Sum and Caveman Yap collided several times approaching the home turn. 

Silky Riot underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to both triangle muscles, right hamstring, left monkey muscle and a laceration on the right hind paw. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Golden Teddy, Another Episode, Wee Gem and Weblec Bloom were slow to begin. Golden Teddy and Another Episode collided soon after the start checking Another Episode. Wee Gem and Weblec Bloom collided on the first turn and again on the second turn. Slick Intention checked off Rockstar Carmody in the back straight checking Rockstar Carmody. Golden Teddy, Rockstar Carmody and Slick Intention collided on the third turn checking Rockstar Carmody. Another Episode checked off Golden Teddy on the home turn. 

Rockstar Carmondy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right chest muscle, left back muscle and right triangle muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Nunniong Bear was slow to begin. Chicken Schnitty crossed to the rails soon after the start checking Starfleet and Knicks Bale. Knicks Bale checked off Starfleet approaching the first turn. Minter Explode and Token Supreme collided approaching the first turn. Moodswing Tarny raced wide approaching the home turn. Knicks Bale contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground. Jai And Sauce checked off Nunniong Bear on the first turn. Starfleet checked off Token Supreme on the first turn. Token Supreme checked off Minter Explode on the second turn checking Starfleet and Chicken Schnitty. Nunniong Bear and Minter Explode collided in the back straight. Knicks Bale checked off Nunniong Bear on the third turn. Minter Explode checked off Jai And Sauce approaching the home turn checking Token Supreme, Starfleet, Chicken Schnitty and Moodswing Tarny. Knicks Bale and Nunniong Bear collided entering the home straight. Token Supreme, Starfleet and Chicken Schnitty collided several times entering the home straight and in the home straight. Starfleet and Chicken Schnitty collided approaching the winning post.

Rezzie's Shout checked off Stellar Rising approaching the second turn. Zipping Atticus and Pure Cool Titan collided on the second turn. Zipping Atticus, Pure Cool Titan and Stellar Rising collided approaching the home turn. Dukey Duke and Tin Shed Fred collided soon after the start. My Girl Kizzy and Stirling Lights collided soon after the start. My Girl Kizzy checked off Stirling Lights approaching the first turn. Tin Shed Fred and Airly Cleaner collided approaching the first turn checking Airly Cleaner. Cougar Icon, Tin Shed Fred and Stirling Lights collided on the first turn checking Cougar Icon and My Girl Kizzy. Stirling Lights and Tin Shed Fred collided on the second turn. Dukey Duke checked off Airly Cleaner entering the back straight checking My Girl Kizzy. Cougar Icon visibly eased approaching the third turn and subsequently pulled up. Dukey Duke and My Girl Kizzy collided several times on the home turn and entering the home straight. 

Cougar Icon underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 10 - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Peter Crawley regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the third turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Cougar Icon was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Crawley pleaded guilty to the charge, Cougar Icon is suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was taken from Extra Speed. 

Extra Speed was very quick to begin. Fashion Icon and Kudos Bale collided soon after the start. Our Rock Man and Full Of Weetbix collided soon after the start. Bump's Nugget and Kudos Bale collided on the first turn. Fashion Icon checked off Bump's Nugget on the second turn. Disco Riot and Sheer Bliss collided on the third turn. Fashion Icon and Kudos Bale collided on the third turn checking Kudos Bale. Sheer Bliss and Bump's Nugget collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Our Rock Man, Full Of Weetbix and Disco Riot collided on the home turn checking Our Rock Man, Full Of Weetbix, Fashion Icon and Kudos Bale. Sheer Bliss and Bump's Nugget collided entering the home straight and in the home straight checking both greyhounds.

Isotope was quick to begin. Mick's Kimmy and Born A Runner were slow to begin. Born A Runner, Mepunga Holly and His Stop It collided soon after the start. Born A Runner checked off Waldorf approaching the first turn. Waldorf and His Stop It collided entering the front straight. Mick's Kimmy checked off Mepunga Holly in the front straight. His Stop It and Isotope collided on the third turn checking His Stop It. Mepunga Holly checked off Born A Runner approaching the home turn checking Born A Runner. Isotope and His Stop It collided several times on the home turn. Mick's Kimmy visibly eased on the home turn and collided with Mepunga Holly. 

Mick's Kimmy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 10. Mick's Kimmy was found to have a left hamstring injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Peter Crawley regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Mick's Kimmy was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Crawley pleaded guilty to the charge, Mick's Kimmy must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Corazon De Leon was slow to begin. Shot Gun Pistol crossed to the rails soon after the start and collided with Clean Slate. Immersion checked off Clean Slate approaching the first turn. Clean Slate and Corazon De Leon collided on the first turn. Dream Gem and Immersion collided on the second turn. Clean Slate and Corazon De Leon collided on the second turn checking both greyhounds. 

Music Event was slow to begin. Rockstar Brass and Speedy Spyro collided soon after the start. Ellias Bale checked off Sharni's My Girl approaching the first turn. Speedy Spyro checked off Mr. Fix It entering the back straight. Ellias Bale and Rockstar Brass collided approaching the home turn checking Rockstar Brass. Sharni's My Girl checked off Speedy Spyro entering the home straight. 

Stewards issued a warning to licensed person - Mr. Harrison Goss (representing Trainer - Mr. C. Grenfell) pursuant to GAR 27.4 after greyhound Rockstar Brass slipped its lead in the stir up area prior to the running of this Event.  Rockstar Brass underwent a further veterinary examination and was passed fit to race. 

Get Real and Zero Cool were quick to begin. Get Real and Pine Gem collided approaching the first turn. Always Ho Ho checked off Zekel Bale approaching the first turn and stumbled. Get Real, Pine Gem, Zekel Bale and Abelero Bale collided on the first turn. Get Real and Pine Gem collided on the second turn checking Get Real, Pine Gem and Always Ho Ho. Zekel Bale and Abelero Bale collided on the third turn.
