People Get Ready and Soduku Shelby collided soon after the start. Yussuf Bale and Daph's Zac collided soon after the start. Yussuf Bale and Daph's Zac collided on the first turn, checking Yussuf Bale and severely checking Fay's Entity and Daph's Zac, causing Fay's Entity to contact the running rail and fall as a result. Yussuf Bale raced wide in the home straight.
Fay's Entity underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a fracture to the skull and to the left ulna. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
Daph's Zac underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
