Steward's Report
Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Kennel Attendant Ms. S. Tyler did not act in any official capacity that may in any way, affected the outcome of this event.
Tyson's Tiger was quick to begin. Dundee Prince, Panda Rose and Scorching Ember were slow to begin. Madalia Mick and Razor Roy collided soon after the start, Madalia Mick, Razor Roy, Dundee Prince and Panda Rose collided on the first turn checking all four greyhounds. Airly Spence and Skittle collided entering the back straight. Tyson's Tiger and Airly Spence collided on the home turn. Airly Spence turned its head outwards on the home turn and entering the home straight. Tyson's Tiger, Scorching Ember and Razor Roy raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.
Airly Spence underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mrs. L. Russell, regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the home turn and entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Airly Spence was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mrs. Russell pleaded guilty to the charge, Airly Spence must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
