Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore facemasks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Double Eclipse was quick to begin.  Disorientated crossed in soon after the start checking Pesky Miss and Double Eclipse.  Pesky Miss was checked off Cosmic Roy approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.

Vice Grip, Flywheel Frankey and Shanlyn Spot were slow to begin.  Chase The Magic was checked off Timmy approaching the first turn.  Chase The Magic, Take A Sunflower and Jindivick collided on the first turn checking Chase The Magic, Take A Sunflower, Jindivick, Flywheel Frankey and Shanlyn Spot.

Avenger Spolly was slow to begin.  Ha Ha Macgyver and Aston Frigate collided approaching the first turn.  Avenger Spolly, Aston Frigate and Somerton Osprey collided on the first turn checking Somerton Osprey.

Fine Intention and Slick Intention were slow to begin.  Madalia Daisy, Mad Eye Madam, Magic Voyage, Fine Intention and Slick Intention collided on the first turn checking Mad Eye Madam and severely checking Magic Voyage, Fine Intention, Slick Intention and Madalia Daisy, Madalia Daisy fell as a result.  Minter Sparkle was checked off All Class Fairy approaching the winning post.

Madalia Daisy underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured left scapula.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

She's An Earn was quick to begin.  Bella Edition and Rall's Girl collided soon after the start.  Zipping Samara and Whodat Dare collided on the first turn.  Kasey Anne and Speedy Bella collided entering the back straight severely checking Kasey Anne which subsequently tailed off.  She's An Earn and Zipping Samara collided on the home turn.

Kasey Anne underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right back muscle and left monkey muscle.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Usain Spolly was slow to begin.  Lady Lagertha and Lemonade Kid collided on the first turn checking Lemonade Kid.  Lady Lagertha and Tickle My Fancy collided approaching the home turn.

She Wiggles and Burn Time collided soon after the start.  I'm A Krakouer, Black Canvas and Burn Time collided approaching the first turn.  Burn Time and Aston Kipchoge collided on the first turn checking Aston Kipchoge.  She Wiggles was checked off Black Canvas on the first turn checking Burn Time.  Sweet Mamma Mia and Go Tango collided on the third turn.  Burn Time, Jayville Slick and She Wiggles raced wide in the home straight.

Leo Rose was slow to begin.  Fraser Hook and Lara Tara collided approaching the first turn.  Locked In and Burst The Seam collided on the first turn.  Fraser Hook was checked off Disco Riot on the first turn.  Leo Rose galloped on Locked In entering the home straight checking Leo Rose and severely checking Locked In.

Loxked In underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Nicko Express - late scratching at 1.09pm due to injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
