Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Pat's Me Mum was slow to begin and collided with Midnight Fussed soon after the start. Market Chick and Cold Streak collided soon after the start. Mt. View Nancy checked off Market Chick approaching the 250m mark. Smoking Syd crossed to the rails approaching the 200m mark checking Cold Streak, Retro Reece, Midnight Fussed, Market Chick, Pat's Me Mum and Smoking Syd. Pat's Me Mum crossed to the outside at the 150m mark and collided with Cold Streak checking Cold Streak and Retro Reece. Mt. View Nancy checked off Smoking Syd approaching the 50m mark. Pat's Me Mum, Retro Reece and Haggard Hank collided approaching the winning post. 

Never Again turned its head inwards soon after the start and collided with All Image checking Hot Streak and Lot Lizzard. Lot Lizard and Hot Streak collided at the 250m mark. All Image and Blue Cascade collided at the 250m mark. 

Never Again underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound on the left hock, no stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Neil Baker regarding the greyhounds racing manners soon after the start. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Never Again was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Baker pleaded guilty to the charge, Never Again must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A post-race sample was taken from Dynamite Des - the winner of the event. 

Tibetan was slow to begin. Mulwee Jewel checked off Antique Ali approaching the 100m mark. Especially Eager and Tibetan collided several times approaching the winning post.

Parumba Barty and Alana Rose collided soon after the start.

Mt. View Rocks, Market Bob and Miss Toy collided soon after the start. Kid Malawi, Our Girl Bailee and Burnish collided soon after the start. Kid Malawi and Miss Toy collided at the 250m mark. Miss Toy crossed to the outside at the 250m mark. Our Girl Bailee and Jax Flash collided at the 250m mark. Market Bob and Kid Malawi collided several times from the 200m mark to the 100m mark. 

She's A Charm - Late scratching at 10.20am on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a tail wound. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Superior Uno was quick to begin. Snap Decision and Inter Cody collided several times from soon after the start to the 50m mark. 

Carter Senor – New declared weight of 32.9kg, last raced at 31.7kg.

Spolly Bear – New declared weight of 29.2kg, last raced at 27.6kg.

Ko Rapid Jack and Carter Senor collided soon after the start. Boes Rose and Hurry Harry collided soon after the start. Hurry Harry checked off Carter Senor at the 250m mark. Carter Senor faltered at the 100m mark and lost ground. 

Carter Senor underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Atomic Icon was quick to begin. Paint Peeler crossed in soon after the start and collided with Alfie Mikado. Paint Peeler and Unsolved Mystery collided soon after the start. Paint Peeler and Alfie Mikado collided at the 250m mark. Alfie Mikado checked off Paint Peeler at the 200m mark. Paint Peeler and Especial Elise collided several times from the 150m mark to the 100m mark. Unsolved Mystery crossed to the outside at the 50m mark and collided with Boes Bounty. 

Luboko was quick to begin, Thunder Spolly and Send It Tucker collided soon after the start. Italia Bella and Miss Tickle collided soon after the start. Italia Bella checked off Six And Out at the 250m mark. Especial Edit crossed in at the 250m mark and collided with Six And Out. Thunder Spolly checked off Especial Edit at the 150m mark. Six And Out and Miss Tickle collided at the 150m mark.

So Joe Mac and Pretty Boy Pat were slow to begin. Pretty Boy Pat checked off Bombardier King at the 250m mark. Our Blue Spolly crossed out, turned its head and collided with Market Charlie at the 150m mark and again at the 100m mark. 

Our Blue Spolly underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Trainer, Mr Steven Spoljaric declined his option to have the greyhound re-vetted. Stewards spoke to Mr Spoljaric regarding the greyhounds racing manners at the 150m mark and again at the 100m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Our Blue Spolly was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Spoljaric pleaded guilty to the charge, Our Blue Spolly is suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Steve's Uggboot went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Inter Mimi and Brother Griff collided at the 200m mark.

A pre-race sample was taken from Superior Bont.

Emerley Nolen and Big Bubbles collided soon after the start. Wazza Hawk and Emerley Nolen collided approaching the 250m mark. Emerley Nolen checked off Big Bubbles approaching the 250m mark. 

Emerley Nolen underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the request of the trainer and was found to have injuries to the right monkey muscle, left hamstring and a split webbing on the left hind paw. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
