Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore facemasks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Travelling Sands underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left deltoid and the left back muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Super Switch - Late scratching at 10:28am due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. 

Inter Joe and Tinker Chuck were slow to begin.

Taylor Jayde and Springvale Misty collided at the 250m mark. Taylor Jayde checked off Springvale Misty at the 200m mark. Myrniong Cosmo lost considerable ground at the 200m mark. Tinker Chuck and Springvale Misty collided at the 100m mark checking Tinker Chuck.

Myrniong Cosmo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Tibby Shore and Zambora Andy collided soon after the start and again at the 300m mark. Tibby Shore checked off Zambora Andy at the 250m mark.

A sample was taken from Unique Quality upon arrival at the course.

Tough Grit and Unique Quality were slow to begin.

Unique Quality crossed out soon after the start and raced wide for the remainder of the event. Tough Grit checked off My Name's George at the 250m mark.

Sand Dance and Also Arandt were slow to begin.

How's It Alice and Urana Rose collided soon after the start. Urana Rose, Devon Shadow and Also Arandt collided soon after the start checking Urana Rose. Silver One crossed out at the 200m mark. Silver One visibly eased approaching the 150m mark. Big Tango and Silver One collided approaching the 150m mark.

Silver One underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following Race 11. Silver One was found to have soreness to the right shoulder. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Brent Merton, trainer of Silver One, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the 150m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1) Silver One was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Merton pleaded guilty to the charge, Silver One must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Moodswing Tarny, Swedish Duchess, Travel Easy and Crackerjack Baz collided soon after the start checking Swedish Duchess and Travel Easy. Spring Roll and Send It Tucker collided approaching the 200m mark.

Go Nera and Lea Arandt collided at the 200m mark. Furnace Bale checked off Chasin' Louie at the 150m mark.

Aston Midori - Late scratching at 9:58am due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. 

Mr. Vinnie - New declared weight of 36.7kg, last raced at 35.2kg.

Pure Profit and Just Jimmy collided several times soon after the start. Nix Jakit and Mr. Vinnie collided soon after the start checking Nix Jakit, Mr. Vinnie and Just Jimmy. Pure Profit crossed to the outside at the 200m mark. Nix Jakit and Man City Boy collided approaching the winning post.
