Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Rezzie's Shout.
Flossy Lee was slow to begin.
Harmon Bale, Stan's Hope and Yondu collided on the first turn checking Stan's Hope. Thistle Rock and Rezzie's Shout collided approaching the home turn. Rezzie's Shout visibly eased on the home turn
Rezzie's Shout underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg abraded carpal pad. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr B Brown, regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Rezzie's Shout was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Brown pleaded guilty to the charge, Rezzie's Shout must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
