Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Shim's Heart checked off Lil Miss Shooter approaching the first turn. Taipan Jill and Slingshot Yin collided on the first turn. Slingshot Yin and Misty Arandt collided several times in the home straight.

Shy But Savage was quick to begin. Sister Annie was slow to begin. 

Mahogany Flame checked off Sugar Spice soon after the start. Lilly Galore and Mahogany Flame collided approaching the first turn. Sister Annie and Mahogany Flame collided on the first turn checking Mahogany Flame.

This event was delayed approximately one minute due to Sky channel committments  to Newcastle harness.

Our Brinni and Aerolithology were quick to begin. Ashby Swift and Lea Arandt were slow to begin.

Aerolithology, Slingshot Yang, Silver Arapaho and Amelie Otis collided soon after the start checking Slingshot Yang and Silver Arapaho and severely checking Amelie Otis. Cool And Deadly was slow to begin.

Taiepa crossed to the rail on the first turn checking She's Invincible, Zambezi Icon and My Bro Lucky. My Bro Lucky checked off Zambezi Icon entering the back straight. Cool And Deadly checked off Saint Rock approaching the second turn. She's Invincible and Cool And Deadly collided on the second turn.

Flossy Lee was slow to begin.

Harmon Bale, Stan's Hope and Yondu collided on the first turn checking Stan's Hope. Thistle Rock and Rezzie's Shout collided approaching the home turn. Rezzie's Shout  visibly eased on the home turn

Rezzie's Shout underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg abraded carpal pad. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr B Brown, regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Rezzie's Shout was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Brown pleaded guilty to the charge, Rezzie's Shout must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Little Queeny was slow to begin. Pyrenees Daisy was very slow to begin (3L)

Little Queeny, Mepunga Fairy, Cudgee's Jayne, Another Episode and Happy Hannah collided on the first turn checking Mepunga Fairy and severely checking Cudgee's Jayne which fell. Happy Hannah and Little Queeny collided entering the back straight. Little Queeny checked off Another Episode approaching the second turn.

Cudgee's Jayne underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hip injury A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Max Mc Cartin raced wide on the home turn.

Last Dance was vetted following the event. - No apparent injury was detected.
