Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Representative Mrs Kerry Houlahan failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Don't Get Lippy for racing. Mrs Houlahan was issued a warning under GAR 46 (2).

Zipping Kay checked off Agent Piper soon after the start.  Madalia Phoebe and Nan Moffitt collided approaching the first turn.  Peregrine Speed checked off Bomber's Cruiser on the first turn.  Nan Moffitt checked off Italia Bella on the first turn.  Chiocci and Bomber's Cruiser collided on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds checking Madalia Phoebe, Peregrine Speed and Italia Bear.  Peregrine Speed, Chiocci and Zipping Kay collided approaching the home turn checking all greyhounds.  Peregrine Speed, Chiocci and Zipping Kay collided entering the home straight severely checking Peregrine Speed, Chiocci and Zipping Kay.

Buddy Blinx - Late scratching at 5.31pm due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr Peter Grice was fined $100.

Flossy Lee was slow to begin.

Run Like Rhys checked off Yelredda Saint approaching the first turn.  Run Like Rhys and Teardrop collided approaching the home turn.  Flossy Lee race wide in the home straight. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Saharrah Blitz.

Hard At It was slow to begin.

Mister Wingard, Horace Bale and Mister Mercury collided soon after the start checking Horace Bale and Mister Mercury.  Saharrah Blitz and Lady Lagertha collided soon after the start.  Saharrah Blitz, Gunmandu and Lady Lagertha collided on the first turn severely checking Gunmandu and Saharrah Blitz, checking Bomber's Queen.  Mister Wingard and Horace Bale collided approaching the home turn.  Mister Mercury raced wide entering the home straight.  Hard At It checked off Lady Lagertha in the home straight.  Hard At It tired over the concluding stages.

Hard At It underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a leceration to the left stopper.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Gojek, Gone Early and Shaun John collided soon after the start checking Gone Early.  Gojek, Aston Cabernet and Shaun John collided on the first turn checking Aston Cabernet and Shaun John.  Gojek and Bomber's Wonder collided on the first turn checking Bomber's Wonder.  Gone Early raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.  Aston Cabernet, Bomber's Wonder and Shaun John collided entering the home straight.  Gone Early and Bomber's Wonder collided in the home straight.

Inter Lana was quick to begin.  Shaded Disguise was slow to begin.

Shaded Disguise, Lady Bang Bang, Muza's Gift and Piccolo Fratello collided approaching the first turn checking Shaded Disguise and Piccolo Fratello.  Lottie Biscotti faltered on the first turn and lost ground severely checking Shaded Disguise and Muza's Gift, Lottie Biscotti tailed off as a result.  Inter Lana crossed out approaching the home turn checking Raglan Revolver causing both greyhounds to race wide.  

Lottie Biscotti underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the left stopper.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Terrah Round was quick to begin.

Justin Rose and Blockette collided approaching the first turn.  Blockette and Inter Rose collided on the home turn.  Romany Girl and Architecture collided in the home straight.
