Asquith Bale, Aston Dimple and La La Jersey collided soon after the start checking Aston Dimple and La La Jersey. Morticia, Asquith Bale and Galiena Bale collided approaching the first turn. La La Jersey, Asquith Bale, Galiena Bale and Hojilla Bale collided approaching the first turn severely checking all four greyhounds.
Aston Bomber underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left pectoral muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
