Steward's Report
Sonny Daze – Late scratching at 1:25 pm due to non-arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Mr R Clark informed Stewards that he had a vehicle breakdown on-route to the track. Stewards have advised Mr Clark that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 48 hours of the occurrence that caused the non-arrival. The matter will be re-evaluated upon receipt of this evidence.
A pre-race sample was taken from Irina Bale.
Mahogany Queen – Late scratching at 5:43 pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to laceration to the nose. A three day stand down period was imposed.
Alumni and Gotcha Laz collided entering the home straight, checking both greyhounds. Irina Bale and Gotcha Laz collided in the home straight.
