Dr. Mumma and Timmy were quick to begin. Pyrocumulus was slow to begin. Timmy and All Class Fairy collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Omega Cimarron, Dr. Mumma and Sandy Gem collided on the first turn checking Omega Cimarron and Dr. Mumma. Timmy and All Class Fairy collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds causing Timmy to brush the running rail. Omega Cimarron and Dr. Mumma collided approaching the winning post.
Timmy underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
