Pursuant to GAR 104(6) Lure Driver, Mr C. Chilcott, did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way affected the outcome of this event.
He Shall Power and My Father's Son were slow to begin. Rockstar Beav, Here's Tears and Sir Truculent collided on the first turn checking Here's Tears. He Shall Power and Here's Tears collided entering the front straight checking He Shall Power and My Father's Son. Thriving checked off True Detective in the back straight checking Sir Truculent. He Shall Power eased approaching the home turn checking Here's Tears. Thriving and Sir Truculent collided in the home straight.
He Shall Power was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left shoulder, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Representative, Mr D. Crawford regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), He Shall Power was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Crawford pleaded guilty to the charge, He Shall Power must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
