Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Riverdale Bluey and Aston Respect were slow to begin.

Tig, Astrolithology and Fab Nine collided on the first turn checking Fab Nine. Tig and Fab Nine collided on the first turn checking Fab Nine. Riverdale Bluey, Astrolithology and Fab Nine collided approaching the home turn checking Riverdale Bluey and Astrolithology. American Star and Tig collided in the home straight.

Ink Spot, Truebelle and Market Jack collided soon after the start checking Market Jack. Ink Spot checked off Truebelle approaching the first turn. Tinker China checked off Two Stone Light approaching the home turn checking Market Jack causing Tinker China to fall and Truebelle to lose ground. Ink Spot raced wide on the home turn.

Tinker China underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured left scapula. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Hot Cruiser, All Bling and Saint Burner were slow to begin.

All Bling and Zombie Queen collided on the first turn. Work Zone and Royal Solo collided on the first turn checking Royal Solo and Hot Cruiser.

Stewards fined Mr K. Blake the sum of $100 pursuant to GAR 86(o) for negligently placing greyhound - All Bling in Box 2 in lieu of its correct starting Box No. 3 prior to the start of this event.  Mr. Blake repositioned the greyhound in the correct starting box after being directed by GRV Stewards to do so. 

Speedy Jack was slow to begin.

Ducky's Delight, Rose Fawn and Moonie Convoy collided soon after the start checking Rose Fawn. Ducky's Delight and Rose Fawn collided in the back straight. Devine Dixie and Speedy Jack collided in the back straight. Dashing Daph, Moonie Convoy and Scaping Paint collided on the second turn checking Moonie Convoy. Scraping Paint and Speedy Jack collided approaching the home turn checking Scraping Paint. Ducky's Delight and Dashing Daph collided several times in the home straight.

G'Day Muscles and Lochinvar Deus were slow to begin.

Omar Little checked off Magic Lantern collided approaching the first turn. Omar Little and Be Seeing You collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Lochinvar Deus checked off Be Seeing You on the second turn. Big Papi and Omar Little collided on the home turn. Be Seeing You and Lochinvar Deus collided entering the home straight. Mr. Rain Maker checked off Magic Lantern in the home straight.

Zipping Sheila was quick to begin. State Of Mine was slow to begin.

Double Tactic, Horizon Princess and Posterior Chain collided approaching the first turn checking Double Tactic and Posterior Chain severely checking Horizon Princess. Zipping Sheila checked off Cairnlea Pebbles on the first turn causing Superior Breeze to fall checking Double Tactic, Posterior Chain and State Of Mine.

Superior Breeze underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right triangle muscle and an abrasion to the left metacarpals. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

State Of Mine underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Mr. Worldwide was quick to begin. Prince Cody and Janray Lucky One were slow to begin.

Dukey Duke checked off Black Treasure approaching the first turn and collided with Prince Cody. Awesome Asset checked off Mr. Worldwide on the first turn. Prince Cody and Janray Lucky One collided in the back straight. Prince Cody checked off Dukey Duke on the home turn and raced wide. Prince Cody and Dukey Duke collided in the home straight checking Prince Cody.

Dundas Houdini, Elsa Rose and Flying Brae were slow to begin. Crown Knox was very slow to begin - 3 lengths.

Guinness Banshee, Gamboa and Big Flash Marjen were slow to begin.

Bright Flash, Guinness Banshee and Superior Uno collided approaching the first turn checking Bright Flash and Guinness Banshee causing Superior Uno to fall. Bright Flash and Guinness Banshee collided several times on the first turn and approaching the home turn checking Bright Flash. Gamboa and Zipping Stan collided several times in the home straight.

Bright Flash underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration on the left hock. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Superior Uno underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the head. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
