Peter Galo was slow to begin.
Charley Davidson, Zipping Imogen and Close Enough collided on the first turn checking Close Enough and Spring Typhoon. Charley Davidson, Zipping Imogen and Hasta Manana collided approaching the home turn checking Charley Davidson. Spring Typhoon checked off Close Enough approaching the home turn and raced wide. Peter Galo and Zipping Imogen collided entering the home straight checking Close Enough. Hasta Manana shifted out approaching the winning post and collided with Peter Galo.
A post-race sample was taken from Little Mug - the winner of the event.
Stewards spoke to Mr. W. Hartigan regarding his failure to adhere to the Dress Code in accordance with LR 22 when handling Charley Davidson in this event. Stewards accepted his explanation however advised Mr. Hartigan that he must comply with the Dress Code in future.
