Steward's Report

Pyrenees Pegasus and Lektra Loopy were slow to begin.  

Pyrenees Steele checked off Nimble Danny approaching the first turn.  Pyrenees Steele and Pyrenees Pegasus collided on the home turn.  Nimble Danny and Savannah Lee collided on the home turn.  Pyrenees Steele and Nimble Danny collided on the home turn.  Pyrenees Pegasus checked off Lektra Loopy entering the home straight.  Flying Flash shifted out and collided with Zimmer Bale in the home straight checking Zimmer Bale.  Flying Flash visibly eased in the home straight and again approaching the winning post. 

Flying Flash underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasion to the left wrist, a five day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr T. Erenshaw the Trainer, regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Flying Flash was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr T. Erenshaw pleaded guilty to the charge, Flying Flash must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A post-race sample was taken from Savannah Lee - the winner of the event.
