Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Rosie's Delight was quick to begin and crossed out soon after the start checking Hurricane Gypsy.  Boes High Five and Token Supreme collided approaching the first turn.  Rosie's Delight, Retro Reece and Walk With Grace collided on the first turn checking Rosie's Delight, Walk With Grace and severely checking Retro Reece; subsequently severely checking Boes High Five, Token Supreme and checking Hurricane Gypsy, Boes High Five lost condensable ground and Token Supreme fell as a result. Hurricane Gypsy visible eased in the home straight checking Retro Reece.  Rosie's Delight and Walk With Grace collided several times in the home straight checking Walk With Grace.  Rosie's Delight and Aaron's Me Boy collided approaching the winning post.

Boes High Five underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Token Supreme underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Hurricane Gypsy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 4 - no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Mr J. Sultana, the trainer of Hurricane Gypsy regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Hurricane Gypsy was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Sultana pleaded not guilty to the charge, Hurricane Gypsy was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Ishmy Dozer was quick to begin.

Urana Rose, Hook Along Patch and Airly Liberty collided soon after the start.  Hook Along Patch and Airly Liberty collided approaching the first turn.  Braeside checked off Zumi's Swagger approaching the home turn.  Urana Rose visibly eased from approaching the home turn to entering the home straight checking Boes Bandit.  Boes Bandit, Urana Rose and Airly Liberty collided in the home straight checking Boes Bandit and Airly Liberty.

Urana Rose underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Mr D. Templeton, the trainer of Urana Rose regarding the greyhounds racing manners from approaching the home turn to entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Urana Rose was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Templeton pleaded guilty to the charge, Urana Rose is suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Lucero and Bomber's Cruiser collided soon after the start.  Brook's Boy and Runaway Angel collided on the home turn. 

Levi's My Boy - Late scratching at 11.27am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. Peter Borradale was fined $100.

Zambora Tara was slow to begin. 

Zambora Tara checked off Hurricane Pete on the home turn severely checking Gunner's Hawk.  American Spy and Barbie Jiggs collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Trainer Mr M. Ferguson requested that Mister Wingard undergo a post-race veterinary examination after an incident in the catching pen and was found to have a right achilles tendon injury.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Boes Bounty was slow to begin.

Falcon Heavy, Zipping Kay and Run To You collided soon after the start checking Zipping Kay.  Ben Doon, Flossy Jo and Boes Bounty collided on the first turn checking Flossy Jo and Falcon Heavy.  

Midnight Breeze was quick to begin.  Thunderbolt Jack was slow to begin.

Buddy Goes Bang and Run Like Rhys collided approaching the first turn.  Yelredda Saint and Midnight Breeze collided in the home straight.

Cosmic Vigilante was slow to begin.  

Dundee Prince and Montaro collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Poppo's Grinning checked off Jayville Tahlia on the first turn checking Dundee Prince, Bomber's Queen, Montaro and Cosmic Vigilante.  Montaro checked   Poppo's Grinning on the home turn checking Dundee Prince.  Why Not Rose and Poppo's Grinning collided approaching the winning post. 

What's Up Skip was quick to begin.

Hird From Bucks, Mac's Mayhem and She's A Charm collided soon after the start.  Hird From Bucks and Mad Eye Madam collided on the first turn.  Mac's Mayhem brushed the running rail on the first turn.  

Remember Jimmy and Go The Doves were slow to begin.

Big Plans checked off Not All Over soon after the start.  Big Plans and Go The Doves collided on the first turn checking Big Plans.  Not All Over and Wired collided approaching the home turn.  Big Plans race wide in the home straight.
