Ed Deeds and Blast Zone collided soon after the start. Lady Fabio and Blast Zone collided soon after the start. Smooth Operator, Blackpool Astro and Paddy Lee collided approaching the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Blackpool Astro contacted the running rail approaching the first turn and lost ground.
Paddy Lee underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
