Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Houdini Boy was slow to begin.

Curly Top and Dr. Madison collided soon after the start.  Big Jo and Running The Wind collided soon after the start.  Murmur and Houdini Boy collided soon after the start.  Big Jo and Murmur collided approaching the first turn, on the first turn and approaching the second turn checking Big Jo.  Curly Top and Dr. Madison collided approaching the second turn and entering the back straight.  Houdini Boy and Curly Top collided in the back straight. Murmur checked off Dr. Madison approaching the home turn causing Murmur and Big Jo to collide.

Rockstar Beav and He Shall Power were quick to begin.

Weeona Bulldozer, Mepunga Spectre, Kudos Bale and Here's Tears collided soon after the start checking Kudos Bale.  Cripps Dusty, What About It and He Shall Power collided soon after the start.  Cripps Dusty and Weeona Bulldozer collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Cripps Dusty and Weeona Bulldozer collided entering the front straight.

Last Hurrah was quick to begin.

Weblec Haze and Perfect Marshall collided soon after the start.  Zekel Bale and Captain Jake collided soon after the start.  Steinbrenner and Silver Smarty collided approaching the first turn.  Perfect Marshall stumbled entering the front straight.  Zekel Bale checked off Silver Smarty on the second turn. 

Weetbix Jester, Banga, Ella Enchanted and Red Rochelle collided on the first turn severely checking Banga and Weetbix Jester.  Captain Dynamite, Ella Enchanted and Red Rochelle collided approaching the second turn.  Captain Dynamite and Tauwitchere collided on the third turn.

Captain Dynamite underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right trapezius muscle injury.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Look Fancy Nancy was slow to begin.

Supplementary Advice: Trainer Jeff Britton advised that Mr. Harlewood had pulled up with a minor tear in the triagle muscle out of this race and would not be racing for around three (3) weeks.  

Vivatar and Mepunga Pegasus were slow to begin.

Jax Bale, Short Pork and Tiggerlong Tonk collided approaching the first turn.  Jax Bale and Short Pork collided on the first turn.  Lightning Blast and Mepunga Pegasus collided on the first turn.  Vivatar checked off Leon Bale on the first turn.  Lightning Blast checked off Vivatar in the back straight.  Vivatar and Mepunga Pegasus collided on the third turn checking Vivatar.

Submission went up with the lids.  Tornado Tears and Zipping Clifford collided approaching the first turn checking Tornado Tears.  Submission and Fleck collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Rajasthan and Zipping Clifford collided approaching the second turn and again approaching the third turn checking both greyhounds.  Tornado Tears brushed the running rail approaching the third turn.  Rajasthan, Zipping Clifford, New Punchline and Polly's Yohanna collided entering the back straight checking Rajasthan, causing Rajasthan, Tornado Tears, Zipping Clifford and Fleck to collide.  New Punchline, Polly's Yohanna, Zipping Clifford and Rajasthan collided on the fifth turn checking New Punchline, Tornado Tears and Fleck.  New Punchline and Fleck collided entering the home straight.

Supplementary Advice: Trainer Robert Britton advised that Tornado Tears had a minor split webbing out of this race and would not be racing again until fully recovered.   

You Tell Me and Courting were quick to begin.

Halbred Bale and Yozo Bale collided soon after the start.  Faithy Bale and Hooked On Scotch collided approaching the first turn checking Hooked On Scotch.  Yozo Bale checked off Courting on the third turn. 

Hooked On Scotch underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right deltoid, left and right trapezius muscle injuries.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Too Easy Jack went up with the lids at box rise.  Beatrice, Welsly Bale and Too Easy Jack.  Welsly Bale and Too Easy Jack collided on the first turn.  Razor Sharp faltered on the first turn.  Too Easy Jack checked off Jeda's Girl approaching the second turn causing Too Easy Jack and Ultimate Bling to collide.  Too Easy Jack checked off Jeda's Girl on the third turn causing Too Easy Jack to fall checking Beatrice, causing Beatrice to fall.  

Beatrice underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left deltoid injury.  A 7 day stand down was imposed.

Too Easy Jack underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Razor Sharp underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed. 

Representative Ms T. Collins requested that Welsly Bale undergo a post-race veterinary examination after an incident in the catching pen and was found to have a right triangle, left and right trapezius muscle injuries.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Javi was slow to begin and crossed out soon after the start.   Gladioli Bale and More More More collided soon after the start.  Gladioli Bale and Ma's Plum Jam collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  King Colt crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Zipping Clive.  Gladioli Bale and More More More collided on the first turn.  Zipping Clive and Gladioli Bale collided approaching the second turn.  Gladioli Bale checked off More More More approaching the third turn.Gladioli Bale and More More More collided on the home turn. 

Shantelle Rose and Shanlyn Rob were quick to begin.

Busy Time underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
