Steward's Report

Whistlin Missile was slow to begin.  Chill Out Dusty crossed in soon after the start checking Foxy Cruiser.  Why Woodleigh and Mostro Rocks collided approaching the first turn checking Why Woodleigh.  Rocky Gully was checked off Mostro Rocks on the first turn severely checking Rocky Gully, Razor Roy and Whistlin Missile.  Rocky Gully eased and collided with Chill Out Dusty in the home straight.

Foxy Cruiser underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right triangle muscle.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Rocky Gully underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported. Trainer Mr. R. Conway declined his option to have the greyhound re-vetted.

Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Conway the trainer of Rocky Gully regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69 (A)(1) Rocky Gully was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr. Conway pleaded not guilty to the charge, Rocky Gully was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a satisfactory trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69 (A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
