Taciana checked off Appalachian soon after the start.  Wolf's Ace and Appalachian collided approaching the first turn.  Zimmer Bale checked off Taciana on the first turn.  Wolf's Ace and Piper's Unicorn collided on the home turn.  Wolf's Ace and Piper's Unicorn collided several times in the home straight.  South East Queen checked off Tiggerlong Rebel approaching the winning post. 

Stewards issued a warning to Trainer, Mr T. Boehmke, pursuant to GAR 86(o) for negligently placing Piper’s Unicorn in an incorrect kennel during the kennelling process.  

Kennel staff were reminded of their responsibilities and issued with warnings after the greyhound Piper's Unicorn was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process. This matter was referred to the Club Manager for further consideration and remediation. 

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Trickster Cabang, a post race sample was subsequently taken.

Potente Rocks was quick to begin. 

Lancashire checked off Potente Rocks approaching the first turn checking Maggie Pie. Lizzie's Entity and Butter Puddin' collided on the first turn.  Lancashire checked off Lizzie's Entity on the home turn causing Lancashire to race wide.  Maggie Pie raced wide on the home turn. 

Lizzie's Entity underwent a post-race veterinary examination was found to be cramped on pulling up in the catching pen. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Riverdale Bear was slow to begin. 

Kalyeeda and Exford Lass collided soon after the start.  Soda Girl, Kalyeeda and Exford Lass collided soon after the start and again on the first turn.  Princess Furreal and Exford Lass collided on the first turn severely checking Princess Furreal.  Guinness Banshee and Florentine Bale collided on the first turn.  Princess Furreal raced wide on the home turn. Guinness Banshee and Florentine Bale collided on the home turn.

A post-race sample was taken from Florentine Bale - the winner of the event.

Valetta Mist was quick to begin. 

Panel checked off Aston Pirate soon after the start.  Janray Lucky One, Aston Pirate, Fly High Billy and Smokey Renn collided approaching the first turn severely checking Smokey Renn.  Aston Pirate and Fly High Billy collided approaching the home turn.  Smokey Renn raced wide on the home turn.  Janray Lucky One shifted to the outside in the home straight and raced wide. 

Zita was slow to begin. 

Pirates Patch and Magic Vogue collided soon after the start.  Atlantic Jewel checked off Spring Trick approaching the first turn.  Marcus Rose checked off Segovia's Dream approaching the first turn severely checking Magic Vogue.  Marcus Rose and Zita collided on the first turn.  Pirates Patch checked off Segovia's Dream approaching the home turn.  Marcus Rose and Cruisy's Rose raced wide on the home turn. 

Crackerjack Daza was quick to begin.  

Newtown Angel and Croucher collided several times from soon after the start to the first turn.  Lektra Rainbow checked off Rothwell Gal on the first turn.  Newtown Angel checked off Croucher entering the home straight. 

Crackerjack Nev and Spring Typhoon were slow to begin. 

Apache Chaz and Rodrigo Bale collided several times from soon after the start to the first turn checking Rodrigo Bale.  Rodrigo Bale checked off Spring Typhoon on the home turn. 

Selynya Teddy crossed to the rails soon after the start checking Miss Heart, Omar Little, Sisco Ride, Double Tactic, Nicmac Paddywack and Blusain Bolt.  Nicmac Paddywack checked off Double Tactic approaching the second turn.  Double Tactic checked off Miss Heart on the second turn checking Sisco Ride. 

Headspace and Ample Warning collided soon after the start.  Headspace, Ample Warning and Typhoon Tessie collided soon after the start.  Typhoon Tessie and Merriview Mach collided approaching the first turn checking Ample Warning.  Lance Link and Why Not Dan collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Lance Link, Why Not Dan, Sonny Micawber and Headspace collided approaching the home turn.  Ample Warning crossed to the outside approaching the home turn colliding with Meridien Mach checking Typhoon Tessie.  Typhoon Tessie and Merriview Mach collided approaching the home turn checking Typhoon Tessie.  Why Not Dan checked off Sonny Micawber in the home straight. 

Sharky Shark and Sweet Swagger were slow to begin. 

Zipping Benny and Blackpool Marvel collided on the first turn checking Blackpool Marvel. 

A post-race sample was taken from All Of Us - the winner of the event.

A pre-race sample was taken from Dakar.

Dakar was slow to begin. 

Poor Old Frank and No Room collided on the first turn, checking Poor Old Frank.  Out Of Ages and No Room collided approaching the home turn. 

Stewards noted that Dakar cramped over the concluding stages of the event. Dakar underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have cramped. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp) Dakar must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.

Aston Rose stumbled at box rise was very slow to begin (4L).

Damo's Pineapple checked off Caramel Blonde collided approaching the first turn.  Heza Real Deal and Caramel Blonde collided on the first turn.  I'm Another Whiz and So Say collided on the first turn.  Damo's Pineapple checked off So Say approaching the home turn.  Aston Rose raced wide on the home turn.  Ninetymile Hawk checked off So Say in the home straight. 

Aston Rose underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
