Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Dodgy Digger – Late scratching at 10:52am by Order of Stewards. Stewards conducted an inquiry, in relation to the scratching of Dodgy Digger with trainer Mr Kevin Ward. Stewards determined that Mr Ward negligently provided the incorrect information to stewards in relation to the greyhounds that had arrived on course, which resulted in the late scratching of Dodgy Digger. Mr Ward pleaded guilty to a charge under GAR 86(o) and was fined $500, with $200 suspended for a period of 12 months. 

Six And Out was slow to begin and crossed to the outside soon after the start.

Husky Freckle and Quintana Jive collided soon after the start. Sonic Rainboom and Husky Freckle collided several times from the 250m mark to the 100m mark checking both greyhounds. Quintana Jive checked off Husky Freckle at the 150m mark.

Mt. View Wrap was slow to begin.

Your Queen and Jonah Alcatraz collided soon after the start. Widdershins crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Patchie Two Dots. Jonah Alcatraz crossed to the rail at the 250m mark checking Patchie Two Dots and Widdershins. Gypsy Warrior checked off Jonah Alcatraz approaching the 150m mark. Widdershins and Patchie Two Dots collided at the 150m mark and again approaching the 100m mark. Gypsy Warrior visibly eased approaching the 50m mark and lost ground.

Gypsy Warrior underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following Race 5, no apparent injury could be detected. Stewards spoke to representative, Mr Kevin Ward, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the 50m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1), Gypsy Warrior was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Ward pleaded guilty to the charge, Gypsy Warrior is suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Montoya, Swordfish Fozz and What Feeling were slow to begin.

Ishmy Neecy and Mt. View Dream collided soon after the start. Dami Jack and Ishmy Neecy collided approaching the 250m mark and again at the 100m mark.

Holey Dollar, Aston Guinness and Wild Slammer collided at the 300m mark. Aston Guinness and Wild Slammer collided at the 250m mark. Holey Dollar and Maximum Jemma collided at the 250m mark. Swift Binga crossed to the outside at the 250m mark. Aston Guinness and Maximum Jemma collided approaching the 200m mark checking Maximum Jemma. Holey Dollar checked off Chill Out Dusty approaching the winning post.

Tex Kingdom and Dancing Rose collided at the 250m mark. Springvale Misty and Dancing Rose collided at the 100m mark and again approaching the 50m mark checking Springvale Misty. Tex Kingdom checked off Spring Nugget approaching the winning post.

Zoe's Intention underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left front toe laceration. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Manny Allen, Gazza's Pick, Red Potion and Shaded Disguise collided soon after the start checking Gazza's Pick and Shaded Disguise. Manny Allen and Gazza's Pick collided approaching the 250m mark. Angry Answer crossed to the rail at the 200m mark checking Master Faith. Master Faith and Angry Answer collided at the 50m mark checking Angry Answer.

Just Jimmy was slow to begin.

Jaggered Stone and Where's Success collided soon after the start. Just Jimmy and Hardaway George collided soon after the start. Hardaway George faltered at the 200m mark and tailed off. Well Armed raced wide throughout the event.

Hardaway George underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left deltoid and left triangle muscles. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Meehan Pebbles was quick to begin.

Janray Lucky One and Master Winslow collided at the 300m mark. Don's Scolari checked off Ninetymile Hawk at the 300m mark checking Master Winslow and Yondu. Don's Scolari checked off Janray Lucky One at the 250m mark and crossed to the rail. Meehan Pebbles crossed to the outside approaching the 200m mark checking Ninetymile Hawk. Janray Lucky One checked off Ninetymile Hawk at the 200m mark.

My Dark Rose - Late scratching at 10:16am on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a right foot split webbing. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Empowered and Battling Baz were slow to begin.

Grand Giveaway and Empowered collided soon after the start. Empowered checked off Ferny Flat Miss and crossed to the outside. Empowered faltered at the 250m mark and tailed off. Grand Giveaway crossed to the outside at the 200m mark. 

Clan McMillan - Turned in the boxes and took no competitive part in the race. Placed on a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 52(1).

Clan McMillan underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Empowered underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Kurtlee Bale and Addy Belle collided soon after the start. Yenderra Bazza and Play Along collided soon after the start and again at the 250m mark checking Play Along. Kurtlee Bale checked off Addy Belle at the 50m mark. Blackpool Ace and Play Along collided at the 50m mark.

Hopsing raced wide soon after the start checking Stilton Rush, Yeppy Allen and Courage Crest. Blackpool Remi and Jiggly Wiggly collided at the 200m mark.

Maggie Moonshine turned its head to the outside and raced wide soon after the start and collided with Challis Magic checking Challis Magic and severely checking Maggie Moonshine which stumbled. Dial Triple One, Kid Winslow and Maximum Lisa collided soon after the start and again at the 250m mark. Kracka Barcia crossed to the outside at the 250m mark. Flying Solo crossed to the outside at the 250m mark checking Kid Winslow and Maximum Lisa. Maximum Lisa checked off Flying Solo approaching the winning post and crossed to the rail. Dust Up raced wide approaching the 50m mark checking Kid Winslow.

Maggie Moonshine underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined 30 minutes after Race 12, no apparent injury could be detected. Stewards spoke to Mr K. Sweeney, the trainer of Maggie Moonshine regarding the greyhounds racing manners soon after the start. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Maggie Moonshine was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Sweeney pleaded guilty to the charge, Maggie Moonshine is suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
