A pre-race sample was taken from Zulu Boy.
Rose Fawn, Zulu Boy and Play Along collided approaching the first turn. Brave Hearted and Milburn Magic collided approaching the first turn checking Brave Hearted. Zulu Boy, Play Along and Tinker Cher collided approaching the first turn checking Zulu Boy and Play Along. Rose Fawn and Tinker Cher collided approaching the home turn. Zulu Boy and Play Along collided approaching the home turn checking Zulu Boy. Tinker Cher and Tinker China collided entering the home straight. Rose Fawn and Play Along collided in the home straight.
Tinker Cher underwent a post-race veterinary examination after an incident in the catching pen and was found to have a right hind femur fracture. Tinker Cher was humanely euthanased.
