Jonah Alcatraz underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right wrist sprain , a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr G. McMillan, regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Jonah Alcatraz was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr McMillan pleaded guiltyto the charge, Jonah Alcatraz must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Pretty Much and Devon Shadow were slow to begin.
