Dundee Jazz was quick to begin.
Steppenwolf, Pennine Way, Tekidanto, Sapphire Power and Tarquin Bob collided approaching the first turn checking Pennine Way, Tekidanto and Sapphire Power. Pennine Way, Tekidanto and Tarquin Bob collided on the home turn.
Trainer Mr J. Wusselwhite requested that Pennine Way undergo a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the right wrist/stopper area. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Steppenwolf - winner of the event.
