Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Saffron Lace and Rayner were quick to begin. Goggins and Wee Fishin' were slow to begin. Gifted One raced wide on the home turn. Saffron Lace and Pandora's Blue collided approaching the winning post.

Disco Riot - Trainer Mr P. Mathieson was queried regarding the ownership bona fides of the greyhound. Mr Mathieson's explanation was accepted.

Cuteness, Royalty Runa and Disco Riot were slow to begin. Quattro Miss and Lancashire collided soon after the start, checking both greyhounds. Graphic Design checked off Lektra Midnight approaching the first turn. Disco Riot checked off Lancashire on the first turn. Graphic Design and Lektra Shadow collided on the home turn. Disco Riot galloped on Lektra Shadow in the home straight. 

Lektra Shadow underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a bruised right thigh and a spike wound over both hind legs. A 7 day stand down period was imposed

Wolf's Ace - New declared weight of 33.4kgs, last raced at 31.9kgs.

Mr. A. Rademaker was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound Midnight Force pursuant to GAR 33.

Tiggerlong Rebel, Denzell Bale and Midnight Force were quick to begin. Denzell Bale and Red Taltarni collided soon after the start, checking Red Taltarni. Unrivalled Dusty, Wolf's Ace, Xeron Bale and Get On Phil collided soon after the start, checking Get On Phil, Xeron Bale and Wolf's Ace. Denzell Bale and Tiggerlong Rebel collided approaching the first turn, checking Tiggerlong Rebel. Unrivalled Dusty raced wide on the home turn.

Glayva, Pyrenees Petraca and Ultimate Amadeus collided on the first turn, checking Pyrenees Petraca and Ultimate Amadeus. Hot Cruiser, Riverdale Tuohy, Tibby Shore and Ninetymile Hawk collided on the first turn, checking  Riverdale Tuohy and Tibby Shore.  Ultimate Amadeus checked off Pyrenees Petraca approaching the home turn.

Blackpool Amour, Lektra Loopy and Kelli Pochette were slow to begin. Betty Bowl and Cornhill Rebel collided approaching the first turn, checking Cornhill Rebel. Rodrigo Bale checked off Cornhill Rebel on the first turn. Blackpool Amour galloped on Rodrigo Bale on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Lektra Loopy and Kelli Pochette collided on the first turn, severely checking Kelli Pochette. 

Rodrigo Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left wrist injury and a spike wound to the right hind leg. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mr H. Goss regarding the greyhounds performance on the first turn. After considering the evidence tendered, the offical replays and acting on their own observations Stewards issued a warning against the greyhound.

Kelli Pochette underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 7. Kelli Pochette was found to have a left shoulder injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Kiss Me Razley.

Galena Bale and Tiggerlong Ginga were slow to begin.

Dewana Milkshake, Kiss Me Razley and Stevick collided on the second turn, checking Stevick and Kiss Me Razley. Galena Bale checked of Stevick on the second turn. 

Stevick underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sand burn on the right hind leg. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Perfect Chase.

Pyrenees Steele, Zipping Dusty and Perfect Chase were slow to begin. Zipping Dusty galloped on Showboat Capers on the first turn, checking Showboat Capers, Zipping Dusty, Miss Zok Dee and Crown Simba. Miss Zok Dee and Crown Simba collided entering the home straight.

It was noted the muzzle of Zipping Dusty became dislodged during the event.

Kissable and Eddie collided approaching the home turn, checking Eddie. Go Natalie Go, Wilbury and Chasin' Bobbi collided approaching the home turn, checking Wilbury.

Aston Cinnamon checked off Have A Roadie on the first turn. Dental Plan and Have A Roadie collided on the first turn, checking Have A Roadie, Dental Plan and Roger Rocks. Dental Plan checked off Helen's Mate approaching the home turn. Zulu Boy and Rockin' Richard collided approaching the home turn, checking Rockin' Richard. Zulu Boy, Dental Plan, Rockin' Richard and Have A Roadie collided on the home turn, checking Zulu Boy, severely checking Rockin' Richard and Dental Plan who both fell as a result. 

Rockin' Richard underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have brusing to the right shoulder and a spike wound to the right fore paw. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Dental Plan underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left hind leg. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Blazin' Ruby.

Vampire Vixen was slow to begin. 

Silver Destroyer, Blazin' Ruby and Why Not Dan collided approaching the first turn, checking Blazin' Ruby. Kraken Pat and Inter Phillip coolided on the first turn, checking Inter Phillip. Silver Destroyer and Inter Phillip coolided on the first turn, checking Inter Phillip, Newtown Angel and Blazin' Ruby.

Why Not Dan underwent a post-race veterinary examination, at the Trainer's request, and was found to have a laceration over the right stopper, carpus and fore paw. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Marvelette - Late scratching at 4.20pm due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Zipping Navy.

Zipping Navy and Crackerjack Scot were quick to begin. Lochinvar Deus was slow to begin. Lock Pepper checked off Southwood Ace on the first turn. Zipping Navy checked off Southwood Ace in the home straight. 

Ms K. Jackson requested an early race endorsement for Butch Regis. The endorsement was approved for Butch Regis after an examination prior to racing by the on-track veterinarian. Stewards directed the greyhound compete in Early Races only until further notice.
